The walk had been cold and lonely, the sky still remaining it's black color. The Vasyatan Settlements weren't to far from her current location, over the hills.

She hadn't spoken a word since the scene that had unfolded between the colored vastayans. But the cold Raven still knew he would be following her, like he always had.

'The hills..' Xayah let her eyes rest onto the mountain like hill, she must conquer them. Return to the remains of vastayan land, the place of where the old relic truthfully belong.

'Maybe my family could be there.'

She plundered over the thought, what if her family really was at this place? She was informed of its existence a while back, an isolated land on the side of a mountain. To most Vastayans, it's a safe haven.

The area had a name, but all she did was think of it as some kind of head quarters.

The chilling air penetrated her smooth skin, sending chills up and down her spine. She canceled out her curiosity in her thoughts and figured she had to get there soon, or the cold would consume her first.

Moving Vividly, she searched for a trail over the mountain. Finding nothing but rocks and other natural obstacles, Xayah began to climb with her claw like feet and sharp hands.

Climbing, was nothing sort of ascending thro crawling. She had an ambitious attitude, spiking from slow climbing, she eventually reached the top of the hill.

Overshadowing the small town like structures below, she saw it. Lovely, cozy looking small homes, and multiple buildings. Crops growing in a field, it was almost a true miracle. A society of vastayans hid away from the harsh world.

'How are they even able to grow crops on a mountainside?'

questioning the most simplest of things, that all had one answer.. Magic. Magic was the reason for most of everything vastayan, that's why she was in this bloody war. They were taking away the only life they knew of, a life full of magic.

Slowly moving downwards of the hill, Xayah was standing her ground walking forward to the civilization. Strangely, she felt little pebbles grace her back and continue falling past her.

Tilting her head behind her, the violet bird glanced at the essence of the person following her.

' Golden. Figures. '

The curious blue eyes followed her mere stare, all she did was turn away once more and continue forth.. To one of the lands filled of magic.

Geez. She won't even talk to me.. Fuck! Why I'm I so stupid!? Sigh.

Following her trail, no words, nothing. That look was all I got, I had to apologize.. but I couldn't she wouldn't listen to me. She probably hates me now.

No No, that's not smart to think.. hate is a strong word. But then again, I hope she doesn't hate me.

The pebbles still steadily have been going downwards of the hill, touching her slick back. Maybe I can make up for that.. situation.. I think I can call it that I mean. I would do that again any day.
