(Xayahs perspective)

"Xayah...."
the voice was so similar, why?

"Xayah..--?"
Let me sleep..

"Xayah.. please wake up!"
No.

"I love you."
I instantly wake up from my slumber, to find no one talking to me. Instead I found a golden bird laying on me, sleeping?

I'm in a bed, it's so comfortable.. I don't remember the last time I've slept so soundly, it's been so long..

The room was white it looked like some kind of dull room, I don't know how to describe it. I touch my sides, no longer is red liquid coming out but it's wrapped up with bandages.

I didn't feel helpless anymore, but the pain was still there. My body wouldn't move.

My attention focuses back on the vastayan asleep while laying on me, it seems that he's in a chair right by my bed, why is he here..Rakan?

I could tell where I was now, it's something humans used. A medical room of some sorts? Something where they could repair fragile humans and their injuries.

I force my upper part of my body upwards, looking at Rakan. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps. Wait was he the one who got me here?

"R.." I couldn't find my own voice, trying so hard just to say a name was a new level of pathetic for me.

"-aaakk.." struggling to attempt to say a word, my head strained and my lungs ached.

'Rakan..'

(Rakans perspective)

I had rushed her out of the room, and seeked to find help immediately. I hope she'll be okay, she has to be okay. Please be okay.

Holding her in a bridal position, letting her still sink into my chest. At this point my feathers and cape were bloody as well, i had to find help soon.

I finally had became lucky, one of the nearest settlements by the lonesome bar was what humans call a hospital.

They told me that she would be treated and fixed there, so I rushed her to the hospital and found her help, I stayed with her the entire time and eventually once she was settled into a room with medical stuff attached to her and the doctors finished with patching up her injuries, I had listened to her heart beat and tried to wake her up when I didn't hear it.

"Xayah..."
Her eyes twitched and her heartbeat started to regulate normally again.

She was up, maybe I should try to wake her up..?

"Xayah..--?"
Wake up..

"Xayah.. please wake up!"
I glance at her lovely face, her expression said 'no.'

"I love you."
The words escape my mouth without any thinking, but once more xayah didn't wake up.. and I was kinda glad she didn't. I look away. After staying up making sure she was okay.. the tiredness was getting to me, I eventually fall asleep on her in a chair. Listening to her heartbeat while I rest.
