Looking around at the forest surrounding her, Lyra made a sickening realization. She was lost. "Oh no.... I can't be lost, not now! The exam is in a few days..." Lyra sighed. She decided to walk in one direction, settling on going east. After walking for about an hour, she started to hear something. "Is that.....snoring?" She asked to herself. She quickly scanned the forest floor, but not seeing anything, started looking in the tree limbs. After a moment, she spotted something, barely visible in the shadow of leaves.
Being curious, and quite desperate actually, she climbed up to the branch the figure was sleeping in, and sat across from them. It was a young male, seemingly around her age. Lyra whispered quietly, "Excuse me, sir." Nothing. 'Maybe he didn't hear me..' she thought. Louder this time, she repeated herself, "Excuse me, sir." Still nothing, and Lyra was getting annoyed. Deciding that she would get no reaction being polite, she sat on their stomach and shouted, "EXCUSE ME, BUT I NEED DIRECTIONS!!" The figure slowly opened his eyes and looked up at her.
"Am I being robbed or something?" He asked calmly. Lyra stared at him completely shocked. "No sir," she stated, " I only needed directions to the academy." He smirked. "So your enrolling into the academy? I guess we'll be classmates foxy." He reached up and felt her fox ears, all the while eyeing her tail. "My name is Lyra, and you are?" "I'm Jinx. Do you mind getting off of me?"
