Kaneki's P.O.V.

"Tch.. she hasn't come out of her apartment now for days, I'm getting worried. I swear if I see that bastard's face ever again, I won't hesitate breaking it." Touka-chan, who was sitting on the counter, clenched her fists and growled.

"E-Easy Touka-chan.. It's possible that y-you hurting him might make (Y/n) even more depressed than she already is.." I let out a nervous chuckle.

Touka simply shook her head in anger and walked away, behind the counter.

What was going on? Well a certain guy decided to end his relationship with (Y/n) just because he didn't find her 'amusing anymore' and that he was 'bored of her'. (Y/n) really loved him. She continuously talked about her future with him and such stuff.

I wouldn't accept it but.. I felt jealous.

Now when I found out what he did to her, I felt furious. Right then and there, all I could think about was tracking him down and devour him. But I rather not risk it.

It's been about 4 days now, and (Y/n) hasn't been seen at all.  We've texted and called her dozens of times, but no response whatsoever..

"Oi dumbass, why don't you go and visit her?" Touka shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts. "M-Me..? Why..?" I stuttered while slightly shifting my eyes aside.

"Don't play idiot with me, Kaneki. I've seen the way you look at her. You like her don't you?" Touka's lips formed into a small smirk, and she suddenly slammed her hands on the counter, startling me a bit.

"W-Wha-?! No I don't.. What m-makes you say that..??" I blushed as I slightly rubbed my chin with my left hand. Honestly, why is Touka-chan even talking about this..?

The girl let out a long sigh and crossed her arms. "Are you gonna go and be useful or not?" she raised her eyebrow.

"A-Alright, fine.." I rubbed my shoulder, as I felt Touka's glare. With that said, I grabbed a plastic bag from one of the counters and stuffed bottles of instant coffee.

'Might as well make her a cup of coffee'  I smiled a bit.

"I-I'll be going now. Please let Yoshimura-san know where I'm a-at if he asks." I said as I opened the door and stood by the doorway. "Fine, got it. Just get going already." Touka sighed, while she cleaned the counter.

"I hope she's okay.." I mumbled as I exited the small café shop, and headed towards (Y/n's) home.

~TIMESKIP~

My hands began to shake as I stood in front of (Y/n's) door. As I was about to raise my hand to knock, I immediately froze. 'She probably wouldn't respond..'.

I let out a sigh as I crouched down and lifted up her doormat, pulling out the spare key from underneath. Honestly.. she should hide this somewhere safer..

Unlocking the door, I got inside her home and placed the bag of coffee down. "(Y/n) I-It's me, Kaneki! I w-wanted to check on you..!" I shouted, closing the door behind me.

No response.

I could feel my entire body tensing up. I picked up the bag of coffee, and placed it on the kitchen table. Just as I as pulling out the coffee, I immediately stopped at the sound of some noises.
