We Meet Again

TITLE: Haise Sasaki x Reader

NARRATOR'S P.O.V.

"So.. will any of you explain to me why Urie isn't going to accompany us?" The oreo-colored hair man, crossed his arms as he looked at the rest of his squad. As no one seemed to answer, Haise closed his eyes and held an eerie smile. The Quinx Squad suddenly seemed to have tensed up, 'Sasarious...!'

"..H-He mentioned saying that he was going to train on his own." Mutsuki quickly answered, while both Shirazu and Saiko nodded. "Yeah..! That's right; he just left, even after we told him we were going out to get coffee together." Saiko let out a small huff then pouted. Shirazu bobbed his head up and down as he continued to nod, "Yep! That's so like Urie..." He groaned.

Haise blinked, then let out a sigh as he scratched the back of his head. "I should start becoming more serious with you kids.." He mumbled before placing his coat on. He thanked Saiko as she handed him him briefcase.

"Well, let's just go.. though there will be consequences for Urie once he's back..! If you brats need me to become more serious, then I will have no choice but to become Sasarious all the time! That will teach you kids!" Haise spoke loudly as he exited the building, followed by his squad who still seemed to be a bit tense.

'Maman can be scary~..' Saiko silently thought, as she continued to walk beside him.

"Sassan..! We've been walking around over 30 minutes now; where are we even going?" Shirazu groaned as he placed his hands in his pockets. Unlike the others, he didn't brought his briefcase, thinking it was unnecessary for them to take their quinque everywhere they went.

Of course, Haise had eventually noticed this and had scolded him for 10 minutes straight. Then again; Shirazu wasn't really paying any attention.

"Hold it!" Haise suddenly paused and stretched his arm out, preventing the others from walking past him. Saiko let out a small yelp as she hit her head against his arm, due to the sudden pause. "This scent.. it's definitely coffee! Seems like we're nearby a good coffee shop." The male seemed excited as held a smile while looking around, trying to find the shop. He then proceeded to follow the scent, which had eventually led him to a shop in an alley.

"..Rrru...Reee?" Shirazu raised an eyebrow as he looked at the sign in front of the shop. "I don't think it's pronounced like that.." Mutsuki sighed a little. His eyes then shifted towards Haise who seemed to have been staring at someone through the window. Curiously, he looked over and spotted two females dress in their uniforms.

A light-blue haired one was wiping the counters, while a (h/c) haired was handing a cup of coffee to one of the customers. Mutsuki looked back at Haise, noticing how he held a slight pained expression as his eyes seemed to have been on the (h/c) haired female.

"Maman..? Are we going to go inside or..?" Saiko tugged his sleeve and seemed to have gotten bit concerned as she as well noticed his expression change. Haise instantly blinked and faced the short girl while forming a small smile, "Yeah. Let's go." He spoke before opening the door.

YOUR P.O.V.

"Huh.. seems like we've been having more customers than usual, Touka. You really do know how to run a shop; I'm glad." I smiled as I walked behind the counter, carrying a tray filled with cups of coffee. The female let out a laugh and seemed to have gotten a bit flustered, "Well.. I did learn a lot from working at Anteiku." She suddenly seemed to have gotten quiet. I recalled how the shop had been destroyed, and couldn't help but feel bad.
