"You know, I've tried to tolerate this, but now I just can't." I sighed, looking at Amanda as she was kind of bouncing up and down in excitement for her birthday which was tomorrow.

Jason laughed, "You haven't seen her on her actual birthday yet."

"Oh God," I breathed, dreading what was about to happen tomorrow. Amanda is still my best friend, but if she's going to act like a five year old on her birthday, my tolerance level will be at absolute zero. I don't think birthday are that special, although I get a bit excited on my birthday. I think everyone would be happy to get a year older, except when the year older is over like, 60 though.

"Come on guys!" Amanda yelled from the stairs of the school. "Hurry up; do you want to be late?"

"We're like, five minutes early Mandy, calm down." Jason said, as the two of us hurried to meet up with her. Today was the 9th, just one day away from her birthday, and she was so excited. She could probably be bouncing off of walls right now with the amount of energy bubbled inside of her at the moment. She skipped through the hall and said hi to literally everyone we saw, up until we reached our lockers. Jason's locker was right next to mine, and hers was on the other side of him; so we were all just in one row, thanks to Jason. After we got everything needed from out lockers, and put in everything we didn't need, we headed to our first period class: History.

"Have fun in History," Jason said, with a weird looking wink, before we entered the classroom. I was right when I said people look weird when they wink. I sent him a weird look, because I have no idea what he winked at me for - not to mention how weird it looked when he winked. I headed to the back where my assigned seat was, and when I saw who was sitting in the seat right beside mine, my face dropped. And now I really see why Jason winked, but I still don't understand; he doesn't care about this stuff. Maybe he's just that type that likes to tease you, I guess.

As much as it is interesting to learn about your history, it's not really fun to have to endure it sitting next to Josh. "You finally show up to class, I see." I said to him, as I sat down.

"Well, I got a notice sent to Taylor and she said if I don't get my grades up, I'll be kicked out of her house." He said, and he didn't sound at all funny; he sounded completely serious. A little bit angry, but I chose to ignore the anger, because I don't want him to take it out on me or anything. I did have questions though.

So I raised an eyebrow at him and asked, "And if she does that, where do you live?"

"Well, she has this weird shed at the back of her house, and I've always been punished by living there, well at least she thinks so." He shrugged. "But this time she said I can't get back in the house unless I get my grades up, and I'm also going to need a tutor."

I scoffed already knowing why he was telling me he needed a tutor. "I'm not going to be your tutor,"

"Please," He begged, not really trying at all. It was more like a forced plea.

I shook my head, "No way in hell I'm going to be your tutor, I don't need you at my house more than you might be coming."

"Okay, what if I only come for tutoring then?" He offered, but I shook my head, denying his offer. He'd still be coming over to my house nevertheless, and I'd rather him completely gone and never back there. "I'll pay you,"

"How much?" I asked, now interested in his offer. And he smirked, seeing that he finally got a way to get me to tutor him - well I think that's why he did.

"So, I could get anything I want with money, interesting fact about you Kathy." He observed, and I looked at him weirdly before I got the reference of what he was saying.
