"Thanks again for the help," Jason said, as he stopped in front of my house.
"Sure," I chirped. "But you should've asked Mandy, I suck at that kind of Math, haven't been paying attention to it really."
He scoffed, "Like she'd be home, she's with Dustin."
I chuckled at his slight show of jealousy, "Okay then, bye Jason."
"See ya," He said, and then I got out of the car and headed for the front door of my house. Luckily I didn't have to walk from like, a block away this time, because Kendrick made a promise. I got out my keys and opened the door, hoping that Josh and Taylor had left, because I did not want to speak with Josh now. When I opened the door, I was happy to see only Kendrick sitting on the couch, with no Taylor.
"Hey Kenny," I greeted him, taking a seat beside him on the couch.
"You came home faster than I thought," He commented. "I thought you'd stay there for like five hours."
I rolled my eyes at my idiotic brother, "Jason just needed help with some stupid Math project and Mandy wasn't there to help him, so I had to."
"Who's Jason, and who's Mandy?" He asked.
"I told you just today!" I exclaimed, he is so forgetful sometimes, it's ridiculous. "They're my best friends,"
"Well I don't really pay attention to what you say, so you can't blame me." He defended himself with a shrug, as if it was the most normal thing in the world to disregard what I was saying
"You're a jerky jerk jerk," I told him, sticking my tongue out at him and getting up.
"At least jerky taste good!" He called after me as I was running up the stairs.
I rolled my eyes at the weirdo, and then made my way to my room. Sometimes I don't get my brother, he seems perfectly fine sometimes, while other times he's like a complete idiot. Can you believe he's 20 years old!? Yeah, neither can I. As I was walking into my room I pulled my shirt over my head and closed the door, but when I could see, I regretted that. "Why the hell are you still here!?" I shrieked, quickly putting my shirt back on, completely embarrassed.
Josh smirked, "Enjoying the show of course,"
I rolled my eyes, "Perv,"
He just chuckled and got back to what he was doing, which was playing Naruto on my Play Station. I found it both awkward and weird that he was playing that. Awkward because I really did not want anyone to know about my obsession with Naruto, and weird because he's playing that, considering I have a ton of other games he could play. It'll be totally strange if he ended up liking Naruto though; it'd probably be the only thing I like about him. I mean, I do like the fact that he has amazing red hair that I envy so much, because I've always wanted red hair. My hair is pretty, yeah, but red is better. My hair is just light brown, and had like natural blonde highlights. That's pretty cool, but I still want red hair. Kendrick kept telling me that if I dye my hair red, he'd disown me. But I really don't care, he loves me anyway. And red hair wouldn't look that bad, would it? It's not like I'm going to dye every single piece of hair on my body red to make it look like it was my natural colour or anything, and maybe that's what Kendrick thinks I would do. I don't think anyone is even crazy enough to do that.
I was planning on having a shower, but since Josh is still here, I didn't want to do that anymore. Instead, I took a seat beside him on the bed and watched as he failed to have a fight against Suigetsu using Sasuke. "You suck," I laughed, taking the controller for him and starting to play it.
"Hey, it's not like I've played this weird thing before!" He defended, and I ignored the fact that he called one of my most favourite things in the world weird. I'd be overreacting big time if I did react to it, because I know I'll probably kick him out or something. I've done it to Kendrick before, but now he actually likes Naruto, so I guess it's okay.
