Despite Jason's partiality to teasing me, scaring me with his freaky speed, and borderline sexually harassing me, I found his company actually enjoyable. He had a similarly dry sense of humor and for being a supposedly frightening monster that sucked people's blood to survive, he enjoyed watching How I Met Your Mother as much as I did.

We got into an argument over the best character, which ended up in him getting so angry he tried to bite my neck again only to fail miserably. I couldn't help myself from laughing uncontrollably at his angry face when he discovered he'd failed yet again, which of course only made his tantrum worse.  To calm him down, I turned on the television and found the show for him to watch. He instantly settled on the couch and his anger soon evaporated. He was like a toddler.

That was how Andrés and the twins found us when they walked in an hour later, still watching the HIMYM marathon. I looked up as the door opened and they all only spared a glance my way before looking over at Jason tensely. He didn't acknowledge them at all.

"Your character is so lame." Jason continued to tell me, pointing a finger at the TV as Marshall came into view. "He's such a pansy."

"You're a pansy." I muttered, annoyed with his whining.

He shot me a deathly glare, his eyes flickering red, but he'd been doing this for the entire time we'd been having this argument and at this point I just rolled my eyes at him. I looked up at the three boys by the door who now seemed shocked at how nonchalantly I was sitting next to the homicidal vampire.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

"Only you, Andy." Isaac grinned, rolling his eyes. He broke away from the other two and came to sit next to me.

When he realized the spot on the other side of me now held a new person, Jason finally turned away from the show with a scowl to look at the newcomers.

"Who the fuck are you?" he asked.

"Language, Jason." I said absent-mindedly.

Four pairs of eyes looked at me in disbelief and I blushed.

"Sorry, it's a habit from babysitting. Right now he's making me feel like I'm watching a child."

Jason scoffed at me, but the other three laughed.

"Shut up." He hissed. "I think the real question here is why are two vampires hanging out with a werewolf and a witch."

They stopped laughing instantly and looked at each other. A wicked grin flickered across Jason's face.

"Wait a second, you're a rogue." He laughed at Andrés. "What's the matter, couldn't find anyone to take you in so you created some mutant pack to compensate?"

"I'd be a little more careful with what you say. There are three of us and one of you. Just because you are bonded with Andy doesn't mean we can't kill you." Andrés threatened. Then he turned his gaze on me, softening it slightly but still managing to look scary. "And you! Why didn't you call me when you woke up and tell me what happened? You knew I was coming over today, do you know what might have happened if Trish hadn't informed me this morning that he was here?"

I made a face, and then offered him a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, Andrés, but I figured she'd call you when she left for work. She doesn't keep any secrets from you."

My little attempt at using Trish to soften him worked and he didn't look so angry anymore.

"All right, but next time, don't assume anything."

I nodded at him.

"So now that that is all over with." Isaac grinned. "I can't believe you finally know!" he squealed at me, throwing an arm over my shoulder and pulling me into a crushing hug. This motion happened so quickly that all I knew was one second he was sitting next to me, and the next I was cuddled against his chest.
