The final year at School

Chapter 4: The Val card attack

Matt Whistled and Tom just opened random portals. As Jack landed out of one portal to Daveten he had a snare Drum. Which is what is played in front of a marching band Jack had it and started to play a beat with it and it started the tune to the A team.

Portals all over the school opened up and people jumped out of them. Every portal had their person come out on the roof in places where Fire, Dark and the Devil would appear but as Matt realised the ground would another problem.

As I realised as well about the ground I got the band to set up ground speakers which react to snakes with ground noises. But as the band set up I looked at the time and as they set up I heard the tune I wanted to hear.

Down on the corner was the song they tune up song and as Denyar was the first friend I saw she jumped for joy and as we stood by the band as they played I mimed the playing of the band with my hands.

Denyar then said “let’s go to the Library” as we left the band they played other songs they could think of. As we sat in the Library Mel, Chel, Sike and Susan walked in and with them playing on their IPods I walked up to Mel.

“Here Mel, this is for you” I said in a stuttering manner.

She walked off and as she read it suddenly I could hear a ting! Smash! The windows shuttered and as I whipped a shield for my friends every student that wasn’t protected got hit by glass that was smashed. Lizer appeared next to Mel and as she looked back at me.

I looked in a complete wreak with my face full worry and she then looked at my hands holding all of the glass I stood up and as the twinkling glass landed on the ground behind me I then looked back at the now open window and chanted.

“Glassmo re fix so” The students gasped at the hovering glass. The window repaired itself.

I walked out of the library and went to the year 12 block when I saw Mel she gave the biggest hug “Thanks for it David it is lovely” she said and gave me the longest hug and she also jumped on me.

As I walked to my Home group Mel, Chel, Denyar were singing a line from a song by Boney M “River of Babylon” and as I heard it I sang the words and danced. They giggled Matt and Tom both joined in with me.

While I danced with them the bell went and as the students left Mel walked up to me and she gave me a big hug and as I went red.

“David, sees red” Tom joked.

“Shut up” I said being embarrassed and as I walked to home group a sat down still feeling the worry in me.

As Mr C my home group teacher read the notices I heard a hiss coming from above me. I looked and as I did I jumped back and a skeleton shape faded in and landed in front of me. Everyone looked and started slowly walking away.

“Stay here” The Skeleton said as his black robe faded onto him.

He then magically locked the door and Lisa a girl in my year tried to open the door it failed to move. I was in a locked in time with me unable to move the teacher noticed my hand. I had my gauntlet facing up and hand in a lightning rock star position.

The girls in the class tapped on the window and Matt looked over at the window where the tapping where coming from.

I then broke out of the time lock and then was able to move.

“Ok that has never happened before” I commented.

“Gee you think” Lisa answered.

The Skeleton returned and as he saw I was free a hand followed him. It was plain ghostly white and a slightly deep voice said

“You idiot reaper I would have you gone by now” The voice said.

Then my phone rang. It was Mel who had my SMT number.

“David, Skel, In, Group” Mel said.

I then hang up the phone and ran for the door and as my books were already in the class I ran out to the basketball court. When I got out there I was faced with a scared Mel. She was just at her locker when a Reaper was right behind her. I looked right at the reaper his mummified reached out for Mel.

“Oi Reaper, don’t touch her” I yelled over the sound of the bell.

As the students walked Mel was out of my sight and then suddenly I hear.

“Mask”

I throw up a Masquerade mask to the voice and as I hear Mel yell.

“Thanks” She changed. Her shape shifting turned her into her Cat form and as her claws rose out of her hands. As she attacked the reapers I was then able to run towards her and as the reaper noticed me he attack right at me and pushing Mel back. Sending her flying towards the lockers and as she did I hear the crack of her back hitting it, The reaper then attack with his claws and as I dodge each one of them I found that I was able to duck and dodge all of swings of his claws.

Still down on the ground and as she looked up at me out of her cat form I heard “Something I need” it was a song that I like listening to and with her on the ground and it being Valentine’s Day I yelled.

“Reaper, go away now!” as I said it sparks came out of my fingers tips.

“Wow you’re going to fight air with Sparks” The Reaper giggled.

“No I’m fighting like this” I answered holding my hand out and as a sword appeared the Reaper knew what is meant. I had the sword of Trust in my hand and that was bad news.

Mel got up onto her feet when I unleashed to the power of Kalanact to the reapers and as I did the reaper was out of here and never coming back anytime soon. I looked at Mel and said

 “Something I need, right remember that song for the school later” I smiled at Mel.
