Chapter 11: Devil is in the detail

The Blankets were still getting put up with a special remote that Matt had on his wrist. On his wrist he had a bracelet which was about 5cm from his wrist towards his shoulder.

The bracelet was letting him able to activate the shields and do other functions also alert him when a certain song was needed. As the morning were getting colder and colder I found that my feelings for Mel was all over the shop with being all upset and feeling the confidence to ask her out.

“So the fire will rise” Fire-master stated,

The Humbots were not far from the shields with also the scary thought of reapers coming out of the wood work nearly literally when I found where they were but that’s latter this is now well back then anyway.

As I walked in one morning I heard a faint sound of a zip noise behind me once a stepped through then I looked up a sunny hole marked that the shield was in place. As the shield wasn’t on the student could walk in and out freely until the Devil turned it on.

“So the Shield is off” I thought looking around feeling a humming sensation I knew what that could have been.

Long ago the devil used a humming device so when the shield was put on it changes the DNA and the power of people from Davetown the powers were there superpowers and one that was hit with it was Matt’s dad. Matt told me that his dad was more all over the powers of earth then had been. Matt said when he was hidden he heard the changing of molecules. It was like he could control the world with one hand.

 “The world’s power” I thought “That means being human I would be a super hero” I then worked out something that had started to happen.

Mel, Chel, Sike and Denyar a little were all losing their powers but like I said Denyar never really had power she had her armour and it in itself was her balance of power. So knowing that humming of the change meant her or Mel could be my equal with my power being near god.

Matt was hooking up with me via my Glasses computer link which was a special Wi-Fi that connects with each other but it’s off the cyber map.

“The glasses are how we will connect with the battle as it unfolds” Matt said as he flicked it on while I was walking in for the day.

As it happened the glasses were useful as Denyar and I both were them which able the team to understand from a different view. A Go-pro type camera put on the lens made them contact and plan.

As Tom and the team set up the band gear around the school Death Forest forces and other team supporters were placing themselves around in the right spot which were in key spots to play the music in. Then as my friends came in I got the team to tell the teacher what could happen. While that happened I was with Cazo an Anba cat and Deti who had Spiderninja, Dizela and other folk.

“So what’s the plan now” Cazo asked as Denyar walked up to me.

“Honestly I have no idea” I said looking around to see Denyar standing near along with Mel and the others who were scared after remembering what happened to Tam.

“Well at least we know we’re going to get killed” Mel Snapped.

“Mel, David is going to help you out” Cazo backed up.

“Hey if I didn’t do what I did when you flaming one was here” I stated “your friendship like other would gone but I have held my own with keeping us alive” I then looked at the face on Mel.

Deti walked up to Mel and they went off with Lizer. When the bell went we went inside J block Mr C my Home-group teacher told the class before reading the notices this

“Now David and the his powerful friends have let the school know about a fight that will be happening so be careful around the school”

Lisa stood up and held her necklace of the Star of David or Jewish star with two fingers and as she looked at me I walked out and headed to my lesson. On the way everything was very hard to tell if it was real or not.

When it came to recess Matt radioed this “The fight is starting” Cazo, Spiderninja and Flyguy all got there microphones and started the song made famous by One direction ‘One way or another’ as they started Mel and the gang along most of the other girls all were under the spell of the hot guys.

Every lyric I played air guitar which as I did Matt studied the playing and knew what each matched with.

As the other boys were getting the eyes of each girl they danced and jumped the girl were amazed with me joining in they didn’t pay any attention. Until pulse of fire broke the music then a deep voice spoke.

“Nice dragon you have been in command of these kids for long enough”.

Suddenly blue light and think laser lit the sky and as a circle formed in a sky a figure in deep blue flame and as he stood still his horns and long tail with an arrow on the end in a non fire burning metal.

Every student watched as the shield swirled into place. Then the humming turns off and I thought of every super hero I loved watch and tried a flip. I could do it easily “Well the Devil is in the Detail” I commented.

Meanwhile Spider-ninja went to find Dizela and Lizer when he walked into the office and to find he was already there. Dizela looked at him and then pushed the other away “As she did the Humbot flick a web onto Spider-ninja which whipped him to the ground.

Mel was still with them and she said “Spider-ninja, which is real” the both of them got up. She looked at both then one attack the other Spider-ninja the one that Dizela pushed ripped face revealed the metal skin of the Humbot.

As they both fought Spider-ninja only had one way to go he measured the flight to go from the office down the spine of the school which was dodging match in one and as he worked it out the other one knew what he was going to do As Spider-ninja charged up with the whipping action and as he released he kicked the Humbot and went on his way down the spine he managed to get every kid to duck as he went as lightning speed past.

Then the Humbot followed and as he went Dizela and Mel walked out while Lizer disappeared.
