The final year at School

Chapter 6: Sheldon and Number 5

Sports day came at last and well it was going to be my last Sports day and as it was that I decided to dress up as a Train driver and I looked really good. As I got to school the usual five were on the oval and as they helped the teachers I felt a little lost.

As my friend arrived the team were in all of the colours as they didn’t support one of the team they believed in equal respect. The team then were the music for the day because as usual SRC forgot to get music together.

So I started the day getting my name marked off and with nothing really with me accept a water bottle and gauntlet on my arm I walked down to see around the oval in perfect spots the team put Band gear around the oval and they decided to do this as they could listen for the parts in the song and do the song together. But as I found out I got left out by my friends.

“So how is it looking” Matt asked before the day started.

“Good, But why is there two Pianos around” I turned to Matt had a little evil in his eye which really was keeping a secret until it was time.

As I found Denyar, Mel, Chel, Susan and Sike their faces told the tale they were mixed Mel was happy and bubbly like usual and Denyar was the same but the day started well it all changed. I got a couple of Photos with them and I liked them very much one had Mel jump on my back and nearly choke me to death.

But the sad look and I being left out began to show. I started walking around looking all upset until Matt saw me. He had his Guitar on and he then signalled. The band then played a cored and then I knew what it was so did another year 12.

As he played I sang the song it was Help is on the way by the little river band. The song helped me out in Year 8 and so it was going to help in year 12 with my year 10 friends.

While I sang everyone heard me and stopped what they were doing and looked at me. My friends heard every word I said now when it came up to quiet bit of the song Mel smiled and I put my arm around her.

“Don’t you forget who’ll take care of you?’

‘It don’t matter what you do’

‘From a duet, let him sing melody’

‘You’ll provide the harmony”

“Want to join in” I asked her and as her face smiled. I then clapped along with Lizer and Dizela who both were around. Denyar smiled and I winked at her to join in.

While we clapped I was singing with both of them and I felt happy again. Then as the song died down I then was down again. I felt Sheldon cooper from Big Bang Theory and Number 5 from Short Circuit.

Reason was simple Mel, Denyar, Susan, Sike and Chel were all falling out of place and as they were it hurts me as I care about them all a lot. As I was feeling down Matt sent Lightning down towards me instead taking hold of it through my body and sending it back I nearly did the unthinkable.

Crash! Went the thunder and as the Lightning hit me I held it and as I could feel the volts going through me I held it. My friends looked at me as the zaps were holding. Then Lizer and Gemese ran over.

Lizer took my hand and got the lightning through her and released toward the sky. Gemese got me and as Mel and Denyar saw me sad I heard Matt yell.

“Together Again” I heard the tune from Muppets.

As I sang the opening verse I heard. Gemese a witch Cubolf from Death Forest was being the deep voice. With other people I knew singing with me would make me feel happy again.

Tom and Kickman were also sitting on the same piano and were about to play a tune but instead they played on the one Piano so far.

When the song finished I was now feeling left out but we all got photos together all were happy and I love the photos Mel was happy in all of them. One we did was Charlies Angels and well I sparked lightning and on the photo you could get it in shot.

After that the 100m track was clear and with the teacher permission Matt hinted Firemaster, Skye, Tom and Lightman should train me in four-way dual.

“Four-way dual what’s that” Mel asked and I wondered.

“It’s the Ninja dual minus and arrow but our powers, it’s like a team Pokémon battle but more human in it” Matt explained.

“Right, terrible pun but got it” I answered.

Matt put on Pirate of the Caribbean music on the PA. I knew this music as it started Firemaster started first, Flames came at me and as I return, dodged and countered every student watched me fight four men at once which went well. As every drum beat was me hitting or return fire students cheered me.

Then at the last moment Fire came from a different source and it didn’t go well. I saw tried to stop it but it came at me. Matt stepped in front and took the heat off of things. I felt like Number 5 and Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory as Mel and the other walked away from me and I really didn’t like it as they wouldn’t talk to me or even want me around them.

I hated it and Lizer could see it. Matt then saw me pull up my hand for massive fireball when he started to play a song.

Matt played on his Electiric Guitar and Lightman on Base they started to the tune as student knew the start to the song it was Status quo’s song ‘Down, Down’ again and it then meant they needed a third player and Jack played with them. As they started I looked around at them when they pursed I then ran over and jumped and played air guitar and standing together we played and sang together.

As we did Mel and others knew I was feeling it and as I sang with them I would be looking down at the ground with really sad look on my face.
