Chapter 9: Mel VS Mel (Did this happen)

It was close to the end of term and I was feeling so happy about me and Mel. I told other people in my tech class and other year 12's I was going to ask her out. Something I was trying to do for a while but I couldn't do. But my courage was ready for the moment to ask her.

Matt Lightning noticed I was happier with her and after he told me about the bad news of the Humbots he found I finally found my match. Meanwhile Spiderninja was around the room and he jumped down to tell me something.

"David, you're in danger" he said.

"Why" I asked probably knowing what the heck it was that I was in danger of.

"Humbot of Mel just walked into Urrbrae earlier today be careful of it you may be sent a fiery message" Spiderninja then backed off.

"Mel" I said in my head.

At recess I stood with Mel while she and Chel were watching movies on her IPod or Phone depending on what had Credit. As I stood by her Denyar my good friend was being her normal Crazy self.

When the bell went I said to Denyar "see you at Lunch" and walked off but before I did I whispered.

"Be careful Humbots are around again" I then walked off to Research Project.

As I went to my locker I found that the Humbots weren't the only strange thing around Reapers were showing themselves to spy on me to for the devil.

The Humbot could be Denyar or Mel. As I was in Research project I was feeling happy as I only need two more things to do. When I saw an email Icon on my computer screen on my glasses. My glasses are computer glasses which make me scan anything for living or robotic but it also sends my emails.

It was Matt Lightning he had sent an image of Mel's Humbot writing on her locker.

IS YOUR MIND MADE UP it read written in mind link which sort of what you mind writes in your head. It's really the voice writing it out on paper or on your locker in this case.

"Matt what in the world is that" I asked him.

"Don't know but don't do anything stupid this could mean problems" He said fading away.

While I researching a beeping sound was going through my head like a ticking time Bomb again. The ticking was the clock and the sound wasn't that.

"What is that" Ruby asked. Ruby a year 12 who is a friend I can talk to in my Research class.

"You know what I really don't know" I told her.

After research I went to Mel's and Denyar's locker to talk to Mel. But she went to the Library and Denyar and I were talking.

"So what's up with the Humbots" Denyar asked.

"Well they are after me" I bluntly stated

"Why?" She answered

"Well as it's my last year and all powerful with the SMT I will be able to fix the world of Daveten" I explained.

"I'm thinking there's a 'but' inserted there" Denyar joked.

"Well they are after me turning me into bad and doing a Star Wars turn to the dark side or just take my feelings and friends"

"So how is Mel involved" Denyar then saw my face drop.

As I saw a kid that knew I liked Mel he walked in to get her and as she came out I felt so upset. With us all sitting together. As I couldn't say it out loud I wrote that I wanted to go with her. She replied

"Sorry David, I can't" and I asked why but the answer was she liked someone else.

Just then Matt walked in with Jack and co with the band gear in their hands. Seeing my face down I heard.

"Something I need was played at Sports day about a friend of ours girl and so we found a song to help him out" Jack said.

As I walked out of the Library. I heard the time warp being played as it was meant to be a happy song it made no difference to me.

But as I did some running faster and faster I found that I in metal tangle. I then practise some fighting to another song I knew of it was down on the corner by John fogerty I knew the song very well.

This help me to play and keep myself from going completely mad. Then I was walking around when I heard laughing behind me no reacted and heard it again. This time I took out lightning and sent it on the sound wave and as it hit I saw it was a Humbot.

Denyar's Humbot "Would you really think she would go out with an older guy that has your power" it admittedly said to me.

"How would you know you're not Denyar and by the way heads up" Whack! Matt saw what happened and saw what was happening and as the Humbot fell back. I yelled.

"Devil face me one on one not send your copies" As I yelled it.

I began to walk back to my locker and as I did I saw Mel and she turned around "David" she cried and felt down and as I walked on with music in my ears.

I looked back and continued walking I then saw her again. It then got me I looked back and then I saw its eyes. Mel's eyes were red and fiery. I then spirted back to Mel's locker just as I heard Mel.

"So you like someone else" The fiery Mel said.

"Yea I do but how do you know and sound like" she turned and saw a fiery version of herself.

Every student stood back my friends backed off a little.

"Well because I'm you" it said back and as she opened fire literally I heard the scream from her. I stepped up and said.

"Oi!" the fire Mel looked at me.

"Stay away from her, you interfere with my friends" I said looking at a scared Mel backed to her locker.

"Why would you care" The fiery Mel answered.

"Well she just ripped my heart out but she is human and still my friend on in this world she is mine to help for you not to hurt" I stated.

The Fiery Mel then punched Mel down I then heard a whipped string fly past me. Spiderninja heard me and whipped the fiery Mel back just as she punched Mel. I then whipped her with Fire and pulled her back. The fire was like long rope that was nothing but fire and nothing else.

"So the dragon knows fire" Fiery Mel said.

"Yes I do me also know this" I pulled her towards me.

"The Force" a student said. "Nope Psychic and blood moving but in your case magnetic force" I commented.

I then heard fire charging and as I heard I then luckily heard Mel say. "He may be saving me but at least he can" She then grew her claws and scratched the Humbot and as Sparks starting coming out I heard.

"Fire is coming during winter" slowly the fiery Mel said as the voice died.

After that I couldn't face Mel for a while and as I didn't Chel was sticking up for her but it was a hit in the heart after being rejected from a girl.
