Chapter Six

I can't believe she fainted. Of all the times in the world to faint, she picked this one. I mean you have to see it from my point of view. We're doing something that more than half of the world's population doesn't experience. Sure, it hurts like hell, but turning into a big wolf and the advantages are awesome. We have heightened senses, inhumane speed, can blend in with nature, and turn back and forth between a human and wolf. If that's not something to stay awake for, then I don't know what is-

Crack!

Dammit! Another pain coursed through my body; another bone broken in my body. That would be the only good thing about her being knocked out for me. At least she won't be screaming my head off and cussing like crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister. In fact, I hope I meet a girl like her. Please stop your dirty minds, just ugh, no. No, that's wrong. Just forget it...

Another bolt of pain went through but it was Tori's pain. It wasn't that bad because she is currently unconscious if I haven't mentioned that before. So, she can't feel anything.

If it weren't for my teeth clenching, blood rapidly pumping, and the sweat pouring along with my bones breaking, I would have appeared fine. But to an average Joe I was obviously in some serious pain. If you looked at me and asked me if I was fine, I would look at you as if you were a dumb ass. Apparently, you will seem that way to me and my kind. I am not fine! But I will be once this is all over.

"Ah!" I yelled as the bigger bones in Tori started their breaking.

"Sweetie, I promise your almost done!" My mother tried to talk over my panting.

Wait! Did she say almost done? Are you serious? It feels as if it's far from over. Tori has not had enough of her bones that I assume should be broken as am I.

"Honey, I can hear your thoughts." my mother informed me.

"What? Wait, how?" I panicked because my mom really shouldn't know 24/7 of what goes on through my mind or my sister's.

"Right now, I'm your Alpha. You and your sister are starting the bonds with me. It's linking you into our pack. The more you feel your wolf surfacing, the stronger it is. But I don't want to always hear what's on your minds. So soon I will start your training on walls and such. Can't have teenager thoughts flashing through my mind all the time." and with that my mother smiled.

But before I could say anything, the sight of my mother changed.

I was in a dark place or room. I couldn't really see anything. Well, that was until I looked down. I was naked. Not the "I'm naked but have something covering me." No, I was straight up naked in all my glory. I hope my mom can't hear or see my thoughts right now because that would be disturbing to not only her, but me. What kid my age wants their mom to see them like that? Well, not me.

All of a sudden, an animal came into view. Ugh, weird.

I ran my hands through my face and opened my eyes hoping I was dreaming, having hallucinations, anything really.

But I was sadly disappointed when the animal came closer into view.

The animal had white fur, honey coloured eyes, and a strong build. I noticed that it was a male. It was bigger than a bear and bears are pretty freaking big. It was a wolf.

"Greetings Tyler." He nodded in acknowledgment to me. His voice was rough and deep.

I stared at my wolf. My wolf. Ugh, that still sounds weird on my tongue but feels right. Can't change fate, right?

"Greetings as well, um..." I don't really know how this works. Does he have a name or something?

He sighed. "For now you may call me Apollo. Victoria's wolf is Artemis."

He practically read my mind. Probably could. Still weird. I didn't grow up with this, so of course everything still felt new. I might or might not get used to it. I'm guessing that it depends on the person and their reactions.

"Do you have any questions?" He asked politely. Well at least my wolf is patient with me. It will come in handy.

"It will take a while to answer them." I answer.

He chuckled. "I was betting on that and I have eternity to answer them." He then did his little wolf smirk. Wow, my wolf is as cocky as I am. Is that a bad thing or a good one?
