Derek's POV

"She's going to be ok, but she is covered in horizontal scars. I think she may be going through a stage of depression. Keep an eye on her, and Derek, who is she?"

How did I not notice all these scars?...

"Dad, that's Scarlet Winters, my girlfriend, who will be staying with us for a while"

"Wait, is her fathers name Sebastian Winters?" He asked.

"I think so, why?"

"Sebastian is the leader of the Cold Gang. How did you not know who this girl is?! She could be a spy for all we know!" He whispered/yelled.

My dad is the leader of the Summer Gang, and his rivals are the Cold Gang.

I know Scar is not a spy.

She can't be.

"No, she's not. Her dad used to abuse her, and came looking for her a couple months ago. That's why she's living with us. Her best friends had just recently been murdered, so I suggest you back off!" I yell, now angry that my dad could of made such a ridiculous conclusion of my little one.

They both look behind me, so I do too.

There she is.

Stood there, leaning against the wall in support.

I run up to her, and pick her up. I carry her to my dad and he just looks at her in hatred.

"I assure you, my father is a horrible man, that I do not aspire to be." Scarlet confirmed.

My dads eyes soften as he sees the look of sincerity in her eyes.

"Ok" he says as he walks off.

~time skip to 2 weeks later~

Scarlets POV

The cut is getting better, and since my school results are high enough as it is, I can graduate early, so I did that online.

It's Saturday right now, so I'm just in the dance studio and just told them the news about Aidan.

Once they all leave I start to work on something.

I'm getting better.

I still miss Aidan and Piper. Their death has mentally scarred me. I know that's something you say after you catch your parents doing the dirty, but not for me.

Derek has been teaching me how to swim, and his parents are very accepting with me.

Max, on the other hand, not so much.

Tonight, they are all going out so Derek and I are home alone. Don't think like that, you weird children. [the fourth wall was destroyed in mid build! I repeat the fourth wall has been destroyed! - Editor]

But all his friends are coming over and they are actually alright.

~ 2 hours later ~

Derek's parents have left and we have 3 hours until his friends come over, so we are going into the pool.

I put on my bikini because I'm not planning on swimming too much.

Derek runs and jumps in whilst I just sit on the side, dipping my feet in the warmish water. But then, I feel someone grab my feet.

I scream 'oh no' before getting pulled under.

I resurfaced to see him laughing at me. I paddle over to him and place my hand on his shoulder. I slowly trail my hand up his neck, and back down to his collar bone and go behind him.

He stopped laughing now.

I get on his back and he supports my weight by holding my thighs. I start leaving soft kisses down his neck, biting ever so often. He starts to groan a little, so I kiss once more, where I left a small mark and got off his back whilst swimming to the ladder, to get out of the pool.

I hear him sigh in frustration and start swimming behind me. I only get one foot on the ladder before he pulls me off, his arms wrapped around my waist and head next to my neck so I can feel his hot breath fan against it.

He kisses slowly whilst murmuring, "Do you think that was funny?"

I just nod in response, shaking a little bit, not liking the effects he had on me.

He starts kissing a bit rougher, and I hold his head urging him to not stop kissing my neck and he begins to suck harshly, I can definitely feel a mark coming on.

I sigh in pleasure but then he stopped abruptly.

"Do you think it's funny now?" He whispered, kissing the now sensitive skin once more before getting out of the pool.

I start leaving and go to the shower.

Whilst I'm rinsing the soap out, I can hear the boys down stairs so I hurry up and put my hair in a braid and chucked on my totoro pyjamas

I walk down stairs and everyone looks at me and Derek is just smirking.

"What?" I question suspiciously.

Jace points to my neck, so I run to the bathroom and look in the mirror. "Derek!" I yelled looking at the massive hickey that had formed on my neck.

I run in and jump on him, punching him lightly.

We pecked each other on the lips when hunter said "get a room!" I gave him the middle finger in response to his comment.

We ended up watching all the hunger games films and it was so good. We also ordered a meat feast pizza. And then we all fell asleep.

Hey guys. Sorry this chapter is shorter than usual but I was a bit late writing this. On a good note my picture book is on 997 reads and I'm just like woah. Anyway if you have any suggestions for a few chapters of this book then comment them and I need songs for my picture book so you could recommend some of those too.
