The Abandoned Planet of Cathak

"Right, Alice; you stay with me." Says the Doctor, whilst River looks around her. "What are you doing here anyway?" Says the Doctor, smirking at dr Song. I still can't believe I'm standing on a planet, 1000 years into the future. I start walking away to explore while the Doctor and River flirt away. I don't know where I am.

I look around me, there are caves everywhere, the whole planet is like a desert with bits of jungle scattered sporadically. I turn round and see something engraved in the cave wall: welcome to Planet Cathak. The angels await you. A shiver runs up my spine, I need to warn the Doctor, but I've come so far away. "DOCTOR!" I shout, screaming his name at the top of my lungs over and over again. Spontaneously, my mobile begins to ring. "Hello? Doctor!" I say, relieved.
"Alice, where are you?" He says dramatically over the phone.
"Next to a cave, keep walking forwards and you find me!" I reply, ending the call. I have three messages from George.
George: Alice, why didn't you come with me? I'm worried about you x
George: are u ok babe? Are you with the Doctor? Xxx
George: I'm so sorry for leaving you! I know I should've stayed, it was all a bit overwhelming. Please reply! Alice! Xx
I quickly reply with; 'I'm on a planet called cathak, one thousand years in the future.'
The Doctor and River run over to me. "Alice, don't walk away like that! You could've been injured!" Moans the Doctor.
"You two were two busy flirting," I laugh "I got bored!" River laughs loudly.
"Look, there's writing here. We're on a planet called Cathak, but it also says beware of the angels..." I worriedly report.
"Let's go down there then!" Shouts the Doctor. I look at River, who is rolling her eyes at him.
As we venture into the caves, there are piles of debris and stone.
The Doctor keeps using his screwdriver.
We can here the faint sound of dropping water which echoes loudly throughout the cave.
"Doctor." Says rivers, her eyes widen. "Look to your left..."
There are loads of statues, not all of them are weeping angels but they are still statues nontheless.
I run over to a pile of debris, slowly piecing together part of a statue, I can see it makes an angel. "Doctor!" I call him over, "all these piles of rock are remnants of the weeping angels... whoever wrote outside the cave is here and they are destroying each one!" I say, pleases with my theory.
"Yes! You clever clever girl! Whoever this is,they are the only person who can help us on this planet, to find out what happened to all the people who live here.." explains the Doctor. "Wait!" Says River.
A voice echoes around the cave. The voice of an old man. "Everyone who lived here has turned to stone!" His voice booms out through the atmosphere.
