Who are you, Alice?

George follows the Doctor and I into the TARDIS. He's been in here before but he's taking it all in, he starts pacing around the controls, in awe.
The whole time, the Doctor stares at me.
"Alice, who is your mum?" He asks, stepping towards me. "I don't know. Apparently she's dead, I live with my Dad, why?" "No reason." He quickly snaps, walking towards George.
"Where do you want to go then, George...sorry what's your last name?" Says the Doctor. He always uses people's surnames, I've noticed. "Archer." Replies my boyfriend.
"You two should get married!" Shouts the Doctor, showing a lopsided smile, "the name Alice Archer is cool!" I roll my eyes, "I don't want to change my name. It's the only memory I have of my mum." "Ah," nods the Doctor, looking guilty.

The Doctor suddenly trips, he's such a clumsy person, I've realised. He falls on top of the TARDIS controls and sends us somewhere random. "Well done, Doctor!" I laugh. George sniggers at the clumsy man in front of us as the TARDIS makes its signature noise and lands. I pull the raggedy man up and pull open the doors. We are in a forest, opposite a house. "Oh my god!" I shout, "this is the children's home I used to live in!" I am looking around the area. The house is pitch black. The windows are old and chipped, there is a faded sign reading; oak forest children's home. Social services put me here when they thought my dad wasn't good enough to look after me. He was depressed because he lost my mum, he couldn't help it. I was only here for a month, it was the worst time of my life.
"So lets go in!" Exclaims the Doctor, rubbing his hands together excitedly.

We burst in through the door to see a repudiated, formidable building. It is dilapidated and the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. On one wall, there are photos of all the children that have lived here, I trace over the photo of me. I look so young, so innocent, yet so unhappy. "Look!" Notices George, "there's a picture of Amelia pond next to you!"
"Yeah, I met Amy for the first ever time here. She was a mysterious child, she was taken in by her aunt but near her wedding day her parents automatically came back. I remember her saying how you did it, Doctor."
He slowly nods, "yes. Is there anything else here we can find about you and Amy?" Asks the Doctor, looking clever.

Suddenly, we can hear screams from upstairs.
"HELLO?" Shouts George.  I hide behind he Doctor, scared for my life.
"Everyone's gone!" Shouts a small ginger girl, running down the stairs.
"Hello you! Quickly tell me your name and what year it is!" Says the Doctor.
"My name is Amelia Pond and it's 1994. I'm 5 years old. Please help me!" I gasp and start crying. The TARDIS sent us into the past, why was poor little Amy Pond still here?
"Alice went today, she was taken back by her dad. There's nobody left. Where's Fred?" Cried the girl.
"Who's Fred?" Whispers the Doctor.
"The care worker!" Responds Amy Pond.
"Don't worry, I'm the Doctor. This is Alice and George. Trust me, we will help you!"
"I know someone called Alice!" Says Amelia, staring at me.
