Brooklyn glanced over her shoulder as Harry drove away from her house and sighed. She made her way up to her house and paused when Brandon opened the door and raised an eyebrow at her.

"Hi," Brooklyn said.

"Hi," Brandon said lowly. "Who was that?"

"Um, Sasha," Brooklyn lied. "I stayed round her house last night, remember?"

"That's not her car," Brandon frowned.

"No? Oh... um, not it's not," Brooklyn said. "It's... her brother's car. Her's was getting serviced."

"Sasha has a brother?" Brandon questioned.

"Er, yeah," Brooklyn nodded. "He travels a lot so he's rarely home."

"What's he called?"

"Why are you so curious?" Brooklyn wondered and arched an eyebrow. "Somebody interested?" She teased.

Brandon gave Brooklyn a cold look and she laughed, walking past him and into the house. "What's his name?"

"You don't believe me," Brooklyn said and narrowed her eyes. "Why would lie to you, B?" Brooklyn made her way up the stairs and frowned to her self. She lied so easily. She didn't feel guilty. "...His name is Harrison."

Brooklyn grabbed her phone and checked the time. She had 20 minutes until her doctors appointment. Brooklyn made her way downstairs and greeted her aunt by kissing her on the cheek.

"Morning, you," Lisa said cheerily. "Did you have a good night?"

"It," Brooklyn paused, "was eventful."

"That's good, I'm so glad you're making friends so quickly," Lisa said sincerely as Brooklyn searched the kitchen cabinets for some aspirin.

"Yeah, the girls are really nice," Brooklyn nodded. "So is everyone else I've met." Brooklyn knew that wasn't exactly true.

"How's that boy?" Lisa wondered, smiling knowingly at her niece.

"What boy?" Brooklyn asked innocently, not looking at her aunt as she took the pills, washing them down with water.

"Don't lie to me, young lady," Lisa chuckled. "I know he dropped you home this morning. I know you lied to Brandon about it."

"What... how?" Brooklyn gasped and Lisa smiled.

"I was a teenager once, you know," Lisa said and raised her eyebrows. "Why did you lie to Brandon?"

"He... they don't get along," Brooklyn grumbled.

"You lied?" Brandon called and Brooklyn gasped, biting her lip as she turned to face Brandon. "So it was Harry."

"It wasn't Harry," Brooklyn blurted.

"He's an ass," Brandon fumed. "He's bad news, the whole lot of them are!"

"Do you know them? Actually know him?" Brooklyn questioned.

"Well enough to know that you shouldn't get mixed up with them," Brandon snapped.

"Oh, well- would you look at the time! I have an appointment!" Brooklyn said as she glanced at her phone. "Bye!" Brooklyn hurried past Brandon and rushed out of the house. She let out a breath when the door shut behind her and she quickly bent down to re-tie her trainers before setting off at a run.

She made it to the doctors surgery a few minutes before her appointment and took a seat in the waiting area, readjusting her pony tail that had come loose during her run.
