"W-why would I freak out?" Brooklyn asked cautiously."Because you're you and you witter on about pointless nonsense when you're nervous or scared," Harry shrugged.
"I do not!" She protested.
"You do."
"Harry, why would I be scared?" Brooklyn asked. "You're being weird."
"Because what I'm about to tell you isn't exactly normal," Harry said and he grabbed Brooklyn's hands. The sparks soothed the uneasiness she was starting to feel. "I need you to trust me."
"You're not exactly making me want to at the moment," Brooklyn said.
"Just trust me, and shut up," Harry said and Brooklyn's mouth dropped.
"Excu-"
Harry cut Brooklyn off by kissing her. "I need you to listen," he said.
Brooklyn sighed. "Fine.
Harry ran his fingers through his damp hair and chewed his lip. "This is going to sound crazy, but it's going to explain everything."
"Just spit it out, Harry," Brooklyn said.
"Do you believe in supernatural creatures?" Harry asked.
"Supernatural creatures?" Brooklyn said and giggled slightly. "Really?"
"Brooklyn, I'm being serious," Harry snapped.
"They're not real," Brooklyn said.
"What if they were."
"They're not."
"But what if."
"But they're not."
"Babe, they are."
"Harry-"
"Shut up," Harry said and sighed. "Werewolves," he said. "Werewolves are real."
"You said you didn't want me to freak out, I think you're the one going a bit crazy," Brooklyn said. "This is ridiculous, Harry. Just take me back to school.
"No, I'm being fucking serious, Brooklyn!"
"Don't yell at me!" Brooklyn gasped. "You're the one saying weird stuff!"
"It's not weird! It's the truth!" Harry snapped.
"Okay, you've gone mental!" Brooklyn exclaimed and stood up. "Take me to school now!"
"I told you not to freak out, you're freaking out!" Harry said and jumped up, catching Brooklyn's wrists and holding her still.
"What do you expect me to do? You start talking about supernatural stuff and then say werewolves are real and you expect me not to freak out? Do you just want me to sit there with and smile and nod and agree to this nonsense you're saying? You sound mental! Do you not hear yourself!"
"I know it sounds crazy, Brooklyn," Harry said through gritted teeth. "But I'm telling the truth!"
"Okay, say you are," Brooklyn said and rolled her eyes at Harry. "How do you know that werewolves are real?"
"Because I am one."
Brooklyn scoffed. "Okay, Harry, you're insane, let go of me. Now."
"Brooklyn, listen to me-"
"I am listening!" Brooklyn exclaimed and tried to move away from Harry but his grip only tightened. "And I think you've gone mental!"
"Just let me explain!" Harry yelled. "For godsake just shut the hell up and let me talk!"
