Chapter 12

" What is it that you haven't done yet?" I ask in a teasing voice, almost instantly regretting when I see a sudden color change his eyes.

       They grow darker as he looks down at me and I see his eyes glance to my lips and down to my neck. I subconsciously bite my lip; not realizing that it's only making his eyes darker.

" I should go. " He says, while standing up quickly. I frown, not wanting him to go.

" Don't go." I say quietly. His lips turn up into a smile.

" Fine." He says. " But no kissing, don't know if I can handle not pinning you down and having my way with you." He adds quietly. My eyes widen in shock and I let out a nervous chuckle.

" Let's watch a movie." I say, changing the subject. He laughs at my embarrassment but nods. I decide to choose a scary movie and put it on. Why not?

          Just when I got back into bed and under the covers with Xavier, there was a loud peck on my window. Xavier frowns, raising an eye brow. I shrug and continue to watch the movie. Which is short lasting as another peck interrupts. Xavier stands up and walks to my window and I can't help but watch him. Why is he so attractive?!

"What the hell...." He mutters to himself.

" What?" I ask confused as I get up and walk to the window and stand beside him. I look out only to see the guy from last night. No the vampire. His red eyes are practically glowing in the dark night. 
"I seen him last night..." I say nervously, wondering why the hell he was here again. He really creeper me out.

" What? Why didn't you tell me?" Xavier asks worriedly causing my nervousness to increase.

" We weren't exactly talking and I don't know." I state in a matter of fact tone. He rolls his eyes.

" That's Ren." He says in a cold voice, causing me to shiver.

" W-who?" I stutter, getting back into my bed. He looks at me with caring eyes.

" He's my Sire." He replies dryly.

" You're what?" I ask completely confused. He sighs.

" The one who turned me." He says harshly, but I can tell his harshness isn't towards me at all.

" Oh." I reply quietly. That's when I notice the credits rolling through on the now ended horror movie. " Why is he showing up at my house?" I ask.

" My scent is here." He says, looking at me, causing a blush as I think of how good he smells. I just nod, not being able to form words. Then finally ask;

" What is he wanting with you?"

      He just shrugs in response. We stay silent for a while as Xavier watches out the window. It's then that I realize I have work at 12 o'clock tomorrow and its already 1 in the morning. I sigh.

" Could you maybe stay here for the night?" I ask nervously, he looks at me with a small smirk. " I just feel safer with you here." I add and a concerned look flashes through his blue eyes.

" Of course." He says. " Ren left." He says quietly and drawls my curtains close and sits down on my bed. " You should get some rest my dear." He says. A blush spreads across my face. My dear those two words. That's what he called me when we first met, as creepy as that was.

" Yeah." I reply and scoot closer to the wall so he can lay down too.

         He smiles before laying down beside me. I've never had a guy stay over night at my house, let alone a vampire. However, Xavier makes me feel so safe. It's unexplainable how fast I've learned to trust him, maybe even dangerous. It's like there's something inside me telling me that I need him. I don't know how he has gotten me to feel this way but it has happened and I have no control over it. He's just so...

" What are you thinking about so hard?" His husky voice says, I can already see the small smirk start to form on his pink lips. I smile a little.

" You actually." I say quietly.

" Oh really?" He asks with a grin. I nod and blush. Why does he always get me blushing? I have never in my life blushed this much! " What about me?" He asks.

" Urm.. Nothing." I say a bit awkwardly, not wanting to admit out loud.

         We talk for a little longer before I get too sleepy to keep my eyes open. I let sleep welcome me with open arms as I slip into the darkness, staying close to Xavier.
