Xavier crawls on top of me with a devious smirk. I bite my lip as I look up into his piercing eyes.

" I want you." He whispers, sending shivers down my spine.

" I want you too." I say quietly, feeling a pull of desire spark inside me. His eyes change, full of lust and desire.

I think I could get use to this. He starts kissing down my neck and licks it. The graze of his teeth nips against my neck, causing a moan to slip from my mouth. I feel his smirk against my neck. He knows all too well the effect he has on me.

" Xavier..." I mumble quietly, looking up at him.

" Yes, my dear?" He asks. I smile before saying;

" I wanna show you something. Well somewhere."

He raises his brow at me and I laugh. After rolling out from under him I stand up and wait for him to sat something. He finally does after a few minutes.

" What is it?" He asks cautiously. His cautiousness causes me to laugh. I grab his hand and pull him up with me.

" I need to go home and get some clothes anyway, so come on." I say with a smile, tugging him behind me.

He grins before following me towards the car. The ride home was short and quiet. I'm going to show Xavier one of my favorite places out in the woods that I use to go to when I wanted to be alone, it's like my thinking place, where I'd go to escape from reality, just for a little.

As we pull into my drive way, I jump out of the car and rush to my room. My parents aren't home. Hmm, probably out together. I change into some ripped jeans and a loose wine red shirt. Then I pack a little over night bag, just in case I stay longer at Xaviers. Once I'm done and ready, I go back out to see Xavier standing near his car, looking sexy as ever.

" So where are you taking me?" He asks as I get closer to him. I throw my bag into the car, before grabbing his hand and leading him behind me.

" This way." I reply, leading him towards the woods.

We stay quiet as we walk the long distance. The wind blows slightly and the leaves crunch beneath our feet. Once we get closer I stop and turn to Xavier.

" So this is a place I use to come to a lot." I say before walking under the cover of trees.

It's an area full of trees, but the spot I like is the huge bush, there's a rock inside that I use to sit on. I lead Xavier under the bush and he looks around. I sit on the rock and look around at all the leaves. This place just seems so safe and hidden. From the outside you can't see in and you can't see out from the inside either.

" How come I've never seen this before?" He asks, walking around the open area, I shrug.

" I found it when I would run. The time when I lost my dad, I would run all the time to keep myself going. One day I was running and came across it. After that I came all the time." I say smiling as I look around.
" The only time I don't like being here is summer because it gets really hot. But the rest of the seasons are beautiful." I add, scanning the leaves.

" It really is." Xavier says with a smile before coming to sit with me.

We stay there for hours talking about everything. We talk about our parents, our childhood, likes and dislikes. It's talks like these with people you care about that make the little things seem important. As we open up to each other, I learn so much more about him and knowing him better makes me happy.

" We should probably go." Xavier's says as our talks fade away. I nod in agreement.

" Yeah, come on." I say, grabbing his hand.

He grins and pulls me towards him, planting a soft kiss on my lips. I melt into the kissing, enjoying the familiar feeling of warmth spreading through me by his touch.

" I love you." I say, breaking the kiss for air.

" I love you more." He replies, caressing my cheek.

Even though I know that I love him more, I don't argue. I'm not the type to keep going with the 'I love you way way more' type thing. Instead of arguing; I kiss his cheek and smile, leading us out from the bush.

" It was nice talking to you my dear." Xavier says on our way through the woods. I nod.

" I agree. I love talking to you Xavier." I reply, squeezing his hand.

A sudden shadow swirls around me and I feel someone watching us. I grip tightly onto Xaviers arm and he senses something wrong. He gives me a concerned look before scanning the premises. I hear a twig snap, which confirms we're not alone.

" Maybe it's just an animal." I say logically. Xavier shakes his head, not easing my nerves at all.

" That's the thing. Whatever it is has it's scent masked. I can't smell anything." Xavier frowns, looking around nervously.

I grab his hand and start walking faster. We need to hurry and get out to here because I have a bad feeling. Xavier's hand suddenly slips form my hand and I hear a cry if pain yell from his lips.

" Xavier?!?!" I squeal, getting down beside of him. I see a brown arrowhead, with green laced around it. What's that? What do I do?

" Run." Xavier whispers, trying to pull the arrow out. I shake my head.

" I can't leave you here like this." I say firmly. He pulls the arrowhead out and tosses it aside. Then glares at me with glowing red eyes.

" Run!" He yells and I twitch at his icy tone.

" No!" I yell back, glaring. He sighs before trying to stand, I look to his leg and see it's not healing.

" Why aren't you healing?" I ask in a calm, yet worried voice.

" Vervain." He kisses, looking around. The sun is starting to fade and will soon be replaced by the moon. I glance around, not seeing anything.

" We need to leave now." I say quickly.

We start to walk, me helping Xavier sense he's limping. I hear a sound of another twig close behind us. I glance over to see Xavier getting paler than usual and a very unsettling fear creeps into me. Who is doing this?

My thoughts are soon interrupted by Xavier crying out in pain as he's shot once again. He falls down and I get beside him and look to him in worry. This vervain must be used against vampires. His strength is weakened.

" Xavier...." I say softly, and hold his head in my lap. He doesn't reply, he's not even moving. " Xavier!" I say panicked.

I'm suddenly lifted off the ground by the figure. They put a firm hand over my mouth as I scream. What the hell is happening?? Panic starts racing in my blood as my eyes dart around. I feel a prick of a needle on my neck and as I'm being carried away my eyes grow heavy as I slip into darkness.
