I wake up to the sound of pans rattling. Where am I? I feel the soft mattress beneath me and know I'm on a bed. Then the memories from last night come to mind. I accidentally fell asleep here and forgot to text my parents!
" Hey you're awake." I hear Xavier's husky morning voice call. He's always bringing a smile on my face.
" Good morning. I didn't let my parents know because I fell asleep. They're probably worried or something." I say hurriedly, sitting up. Xavier chuckles.
" Good morning beautiful. And don't worry I already called them last night after you fell asleep." He says sweetly.
" Oh... Thank you." I say quietly and notice I'm only in a loose white shirt.
"Uh did you change me?" I ask, looking to him with a raised brow. He bites his lip and just gives a nod.
" Yes." He says crossing his arms. " and I'm making you bacon." He laughs, changing the subject. I just let it go, not like he hasn't seen my body before. Instead; I focus on the bacon.
" Oooh good! I'm starving!" I say hungrily, getting up and running to the kitchen.
Xavier chuckles as he comes into the room too. I smile at him, then look at my plate of bacon and my smile widens. I stand, then take a piece and bite into it. Xavier grins at me as the bacon melts in my mouth at the taste. It's amazing! As I'm eating I feel Xavier's gaze on me, causing me to instinctively look back to him.
" Yes..?" I ask after several minutes of us staring at each other. He grins, biting his lip.
" You look to damn cute in my shirt." He says with a bug smile. A smile forms on my lips and I run to him, giving him a tight hug.
" I love you." I say as I kiss his cheek.
" I love you too." He replies, leaving a warm yet soft kiss on my forehead.
" Thank you for the bacon." I say appreciatively. He nods, holding me close to him.
" You're very welcome my dear. We should probably get you home."
He sighs at the last part. I feel myself sighing with him; not wanting to leave him or his warm embrace. A thought crosses my mind and I go to get my phone checking my calendar. No work tomorrow. Smiling, I quickly dial my moms phone. She answers on the fourth ring.
" Hey honey." She answers.
" Hey mom." I smile happily. She chuckles.
" Are you wanting to stay with Xavier?" She asks. A blush covers my face, how did she know?
" How did you know?" I ask curiously but also amused.
" Because I know what it's like to be in love." She says kindly. " besides I trust both of you. I'm your mother, I know what's going on and honestly you're old enough now to make your own decisions and I'm just here to support or give advice." My mom adds, causing a big smile to cover my lips.
" I love you mom. Thank you for trusting us and for being there for me. " I reply sweetly. She laughs.
" I love you too." She says.
" Well I'll let you go. I'll call you tonight. Tell dad I love him." I say after a few minutes of silence had passed.
" Okay Lyla. Talk to you later honey. I will." She replies and we hang up the phone.
I lay on Xavier's bed with a smile on my face. Today is going to be such a good day. All day and another night and day with Xavier. I see his figure in the doorway as he gets closer to the bed.
" I'm happy you can stay my dear." He says with a smile, a hint of a smirk capturing the corner of his lips. I grin at him.
" You should be." I flirt casually, giving him a wink.
