"What do you mean by that?"

"Just you wait and see.  Tomorrow you will suddenly have a mysterious accident and no one will know what happened to you.  Sad really."

"We will just see about that."

    "We shall."

Rose finally got to sleep, but she couldn't get that mysterious person out of her head the whole night.  When she woke up she told the others what he had said.

"Are you okay?" Jeremy rushed over to her, comforting.

    "I'm fine."

    "Are you sure?"

    "Yes.  I am."

"Did you get a good look at his face or anything?" Kane was curious to know who would do something like this – scaring the crap out of someone.

"No, I didn't. Like I said it was dark and he hid in the bushes." Rose utterly replied.

"Well, we better get a move on if we are going to find them." Lizzy-bell interrupted.

"Right.  This time we won't split up. We don't know who or what is out there." Kane retorted.

"So, which way do we go then, sis?" Jeremy inquired.

    "We will try going North."

"But, aren't we already North?" Catidid  asked.

"Thanks for pointing that out, Catidid.  Then we shall go East toward the forest.  I have a feeling we will be very lucky there."  Kane replied.

After everyone got ready, including having the chips that Kane gave them just to be safe, they started heading East.  When it started to get really dense with growth, a thick fog rolled in.  No one could see anything in front of them.

"Can you guys see anything?" Jeremy questioned.

"No.  Would flashlights work, Kane?" Rose replied.

"I don't think so.  Unless I brought it," Kane said, "Ah ha! I did.  Let's see if it will work."

It turned out that it did indeed work.  Now they could see farther than they were able to before.

"Are we still going East, Kane?" Rose asked.

"Yes, I think we are in the middle of the forest now," Kane answered, "We need to look for a clearing of some sort."

After searching for awhile, they finally came upon something of interest.

"Kane come look at this!" shouted Catidid.

"What is it, Catidid?" Kane interrogated.

"I think it's some sort of clearing."

    "You are quite right."

They came upon the clearing that Catidid discovered moments ago.  It was a completely grassy clearing.  There were all sorts of colored wild flowers all around.  In the middle of the clearing there was a ginormous skyscraper 7 stories high.  Apparently it was hidden from sight since the trees in the jungle are about the same height as the skyscraper.

"Sandra and Jacob cannot be far away from here." said Jeremy.

    "How do you know?"said Rose.

"The wild flowers leading up to the skyscraper are dead, but still green.  They must have just came here."

Everybody started arguing on how to get in since there was no obvious entry point.  What they seemed to forget was that  Sandra and Jacob could have been watching them and they were.  Before the arguing ended Sandra and Jacob were able to plan their escape   On the other side of the skyscraper, were Jeremy, Rose, Catidid, Lizzy-bell, and Kane forgot to check, Jacob and Sandra tried to make a hasty escape.

"Shhh!" Jeremy silenced everyone.  As several flowers were being smashed, Kane suddenly picked up a gun that Lizzy-bell had discarded for arguing.  For an twelve-year-old girl she moved quickly and quietly.   As she rounded the other side of the side skyscraper, she found Jacob and Sandra hiding, not very well, among the flowers.  Where she tazed both of them.  For the next few minutes Catidid found access to the skyscraper through a door that was hidden by the flowers.

Catidid and Lizzy-bell carried Jacob and Sandra up to the top level of the skyscraper, they felt as though no one could be trusted with the care of the two traitors.  The twins wanted to torture then interrogate them harshly, but Rose would not let them.  She insisted that she do the asking of questions.  Everybody else was not so sure about this since Rose seemed to be the least experienced.

"Why did you betray us?" Rose said as she slammed her fist into the table.

"I think you know why." said Sandra.

"I think that you know that I really don't know why you two would do such a thing."

"We had to set everything up, just right.  We couldn't have any of your other friends thinking that we were ever going to be the culprits."

"Oh, yeah, I let Jeremy slam my face to the ground." said Jacob in his cocky way.

    "Who are you working for?"

"You have no idea what is going on do you?  While you and all of your little friends are on this little trip, the whole agency is being taken hostage.  Your uncle let you be on this mission so that you would not be harmed.  Seeing as how he never wanted you to be in the program." Sandra's eyes revealed that she was not telling a lie.

"That can't be true, I mean it's not possible, is it?"

"Think about it. Why would Founder Mo send some of the best kid spies with you on this mission?"
