Did Someone Say Spy?! [Major Rewrite]

Chapter 4

"Sandra has always liked Jeremy.  It's no secret. I should should tell you that there is two more people that you should meet. . ." Kane said while she was pouring an acid into a base.

    "Okay.  So who are these two people I'm supposed to be meeting?" Then right as Rose was saying that, two British teenage twin sisters jumped out behind her and . . .

    "AHHhhhhhhh!" Rose screamed.

    "Lizzy-bell and Catidid!  What did I tell you about tasing people in my laboratory?  You can kill people if you are not careful!" Kane screamed at the top of her lungs.

    "We have killed people, which you seem to forget Kane every time we are here.  We are always careful about who we taze." The twin without the taser said in her thick British accent.

    "Huh, Rose may I introduce you to two of our most helpful allies.  This is Catidid and Lizzy-bell, even though those aren't their real names."

    "They're code names, we have committed too many crimes to use our real names anymore." Lizzy-bell said in her matter-of-fatally voice.

    "Oh hey, Kane, is Jeremy on a mission?" Catidid said.  Rose internally groaned, not another one who likes Jeremy.  This might just be too much for her.

    "No, he is actually here helping Rose train." Kane didn't seem to show the same worry she had when she mentioned how Sandra  like Jeremy.

    "Sweet, that means we can crush him with our newest technology!" Lizzy-bell said very excitedly.  Rose's face must have shown confusion since the twins started to burst out laughing.

    "Jeremy is one of our biggest targets when we are bored.  When we're not on any missions we usually pummel our friends for fun.  What else do we have to do?" Catidid said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

    "Then why don't you go and pummel Jacob?  He is pretty stupid, he won't ever see it coming!" Rose seemed very happy that there were some people in this world in which she enjoyed their company.

    "Hey!  You're pretty good for an amateur.  Wait aren't you Grumpy Mo's niece?" Lizzy-bell asked even though she knew she didn't need to. 

    "Yeah, but why would it matter to you?  You're from Britain."

    "It doesn't."

    "Then why did you ask?"

    "I don't know."

    "Please don't bring him up again."

    "Okay. We won't." Lizzy-bell said with her fingers crossed behind her back.

    "Well I have to go now.  See ya."

    "Okay.  Bye now.  See you later." The twins said in unison.

    After Rose had left, the twins started to explore Kane's laboratory, picking up everything they saw and then dropping it on the floor saying "Oops" every time they did it.

    "Guys will you please stop it!" Kane was over the edge now.

    "Who's going to make us?  You're just a small twelve-year old, who doesn't know anything." The twins said in unison again.

    "Ugh!  I'm getting founder Mo and General Hendrix!" Kane said as she stormed out of the room.

    As Kane went to go get them, the twins used their special ray gun that fixes broken things.  So after everything was fixed, General Hendrix and Founder Mo come barging into the room.

    "What were you guys doing to Kane's laboratory?" demanded General Hendrix.

    "Nothing." they said blamelessly.

    "I don't believe you." Founder Mo told them.

    "But you have to!  We didn't do anything.  Honest!" Catidid said.

    "Catidid done did say that, didn't she?" Lizzy-bell said hysterically.

    "I have no idea what you just said little lady." Founder Mo said.

    "That's a good thing then." Lizzy-bell said. "Since all the people in this facility don't want us to know anything."

    "Why don't you two go occupy yourselves by punching our best punching bags?" the General suggested

    "Or we could just go find Jeremy, and torment him for the rest of the day!" Catidid shot back.

    "I give up!" Founder Mo said while throwing up his arms.

    "Young ladies, you two are the best a spy could ever hope for in an ally, but you are also the most annoying.  I declare you are even more petrifying than Jacob." the General said with great emphasis.

    "Say who is this Jacob?" Lizzy-bell interrogated.

    "One of the dumbest and newest spies to our association, he came with Rose.  She is so far ahead of him, but I guess that is to be expected of the niece of Founder Mo." General Hendrix replied.

    "Don't mix up the top layer of stupidity with the under level of deception." Catidid spoke with one of her rare moments of seriousness.

    All the General could do was watch the girls leave the premises in confusion.  What could they mean by that?   

        "Hey, Rose.  Sorry about what we said earlier.  We didn't really mean it.  The question should have never have been asked." Catidid apologized in the mess hall.

    Out of the corner of their eyes the twins were watching Jacob eat his food rather disgustingly, with ribs for dinner his whole face was covered in sauce and meat.  They had never seen anything more disturbing, but they were more interested in how he portrayed himself to everyone in the corporation.  It was very hard to fathom that a guy with his stupidity would even be there.  He was rather intelligent looking until he opened his mouth.  The twins seemed to brush it off momentarily. 

    "Oh, it's alright.  I guess I still haven't got over his deception towards my family," Rose was saying as they sat down at the table with their food, "He was always there for me when my parents weren't.  He was like my best friend, and then ten years ago he just up and left for no apparent reason.  Then someone found his body in a car that was identified as his from the license plate.  I had cried for three days straight thinking how hard it would be to live my life without him.  I guess all of that pent up emotion spilled out on you guys.  I am really sorry about that." Rose sobered.

    "It's okay.  Our parents were never there for us.  We actually grew up in foster homes all across Europe.  We never got to have the kind of love you have experienced with your uncle.  We only have each other.  Thank goodness the good Lord kept us together to brave our childhood in terrible houses." Lizzy-bell explained looking down at her food with great remorse.  As she was saying this Jeremy walks up.

    "I am sorry, I didn't know that is that why Jer--"

    "Hey, Rose I want to take to you about something." says Jeremy, interrupting Rose.
