1 year later...
"Why can't you take it? You're much stronger than me!"
"Olivia sweetie, I'm really not. And you can take your own suitcase into the house, thank you very much! Now don't forget to unpack before dinner, you need an early night. You've got school tomorrow, remember."
How could she forget. Without her mum reminding her, Olivia would still have school on her mind. It's all she can think about. That... and other things.
It had been a whole year since she was in Rosewood. She had spent a year away in Paris with her mum. To get away from everything. Everything; pretty much meant, what happened last summer.
Olivia's mum decided to take her daughter away from Rosewood for a year, in the hope that Olivia would be distracted for some time. Her mum knew it was too much for her daughter to stay here, considering that everything in Rosewood reminded Olivia of her best friend, Ali. And she couldn't stay here any longer.
But she was back now. And she knew she'd have to face everyone at school tomorrow. All of her friends. And everyone else in Rosewood who was probably curious to know where she'd been for a whole year. And why she'd left so quickly.
There were many reasons why Olivia was so eager to leave Rosewood, and it wasn't just because of what happened to Ali. There were many things that had happened to her that summer that she could not forget so easily. And she knew it was only time before she'd have to face her problems, head on. Meanwhile, she would just unpack her things and enjoy a night of peace before school tomorrow. As they say, 'the calm before the storm.'

The next morning, she woke up bright and early, ready to start the day and get it over with. She was hoping to avoid any questions at school about her year away, she may have been distracted from the events in Rosewood, but in Paris she had bigger problems that she would rather just ignore for the time being.
As soon as she hopped out the shower, she got dressed into some comfy black leggings and a plain, dark blue, long sleeved, criss-cross top. She decided to bring her black denim jacket with her as the weather was starting to get chilly. She brushed through her long, light brown hair and let it flow over her back, instead of straightening it like she normally would. She slipped on a pair of trainers and gathered her school things making her way downstairs.
On her way to school she decided to stop off at the brew to get a coffee, realising that she was way too tired to be able to sit through her French lesson with Ms. Ford. That woman could talk for England and she knew if she didn't have her usual coffee in the morning, she would be sleeping straight through the class. And it was definitely not a good idea to be caught sleeping in lesson on the first day back.
When she arrived at school, she parked her car round the back as usual. And made her way round to the front entrance. However as she was walking, she noticed a few stares come her way. As she entered the school, people were making way for her to get through. Several groups of people were full on staring at her. And she started to feel really paranoid, wondering why on earth they would stare at her like this.
She quickly made her way to her locker and tried her best to ignore the looks she was getting from everyone in the hallway.
"Olivia!" She turned around to find her best friend Becky smiling widely at her. Her best friend pulled her into a hug and Olivia quickly accepted, returning it and smiling back.
