It was a bright, warm Sunday morning and Olivia walked into the kitchen to find her uncle making pancakes. She tied her pink robe around herself and walked over to sit on a stall at the counter.

"Oh hey! Your up!" Her uncle said, flipping pancakes.

"Yeah, how's mum?" I asked him, worried about how she was coping.

"She's actually a lot better." My uncle told me, placing a pancake on my plate. I started to squirt chocolate sauce over the pancake and I sprinkled some sugar on it too.

"She's gone out to get the groceries for the week." He said, handing me my cutlery and sitting down next to me to eat his pancake.

"That's good."

"Most importantly though, how are you? You've been very distant." He turned to me, looking serious.

I take a bite of my pancake. Avoiding his question.

"Come on, liv. I notice these things. I know it's been hard for you this past year and just know that I'm here for you if you ever need to talk."

I look up at him and I know that he means it. "Thank you." I put on a smile and go back to eating my pancake.

My plan for today was to tell Melody about Jordan. I was praying that it wouldn't all blow up in my face. But I knew it would.

But I had to tell her, otherwise A would tell everyone about what happened that summer.

"So what's the plan for today?" My uncle asked me, interrupting my thoughts.

"I'm going to Melody's to study." I said, lying to him. For me, lying was like breathing. It didn't effect me whatsoever.

"Okay, well be home for dinner, it's at 6."

"I will." I replied, putting my empty plate in the dishwasher.

I walked upstairs to find an outfit for today. I opened my closet and flicked through my tops. I went for a white striped top with a pair of bright pink shorts. I found a large handbag, that was pink to match my shorts. I slipped on a pair of silver, glittery sandals. And I headed out.

Once I arrived at Melody's, I rung the doorbell and waited for someone to answer

Once I arrived at Melody's, I rung the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. I was about to say hello when the door opened but Jordan answered it, and that took me completely by surprise.

"Hey liv." His face lit up and he stepped back to let me in.

"Hey Jordan. Is Melody here?"

But my question was answered when I saw Melody walk down the stairs. "Oh hey liv, want some coffee?"
