"Why would Noah have Ali's friendship bracelet?" Melody said, voicing my exact thought. "I thought she had it on her that night."

"She did." I said, remembering seeing her wear it at the barn. She had it on. "She was wearing it, he must have taken it off her after she died."

"Wait now your sure he killed her?" Melody stated.

"Yeah I think I am." I said quietly.

"You think?"

I was about to reply when I heard a voice from the other side of the hedge. "Don't you girls have anything better to do than to hide in parks?"

We walked between the hedges to see Jordan, Melody's older brother. Inside my head, I was relieved to see Jordan instead of Noah standing there. But I also felt my heart race. My summer fling was standing right in front of me.

"What do you want Jord?" Melody asked, sighing at the sight of her brother.

She placed a hand on her hip and glared at him. He ignored her. And turned to smile at me instead. "Hi Olivia."

"Hey Jordan. How've you been?"

"Good thanks. Just wanted to say I'm sorry about your dad. I'm always here if you need me."

"Thank you." I appreciated it. Truly. He was one of the most honest and kind-hearted person that I knew.

"Pretty dress." He said grinning at me. I felt my cheeks heat up, I hope it wasn't too obvious that I was blushing.

"We have to go!" Melody said, linking her arm round mine and pulling me away from him, up to the steps to leave the park.

I heard him shout behind us. "See you soon."

I turned my head as I walked up the steps, and I smiled. For real this time. He was always such a sweetheart. And then he winked and I turned back around remembering what happened between us that summer. Melody can never know.

We got into Melody's car and immediately called Becky to find out where Ella and her were. But they didn't answer so we tracked Becky's phone, and followed them to Alison's backyard, or at least the woods next to the backyard.

We trailed through the woods, tracking the phone. I was trying to keep myself focused on finding them but I couldn't help but think back to the last time I was in the woods, it was when I found my fathers dead body.

"There they are." Melody whispered to me. Interrupting my thoughts.

I looked up and we quickly hid behind a thick tree, seeing that Noah and Maddy were having a heated discussion. We also saw Becky and Ella hiding behind a tree near us. I realised why Becky couldn't pick up the phone, because Maddy and Noah would know that we were here. That we were watching them. We kept silent as we watched them, listening to their conversation.

"Why can't you just let me handle this?" Noah told Maddy, sounding frustrated and tired.

"Because I don't trust you to handle this. That's why. I saw the way you looked at her, it's the same way you used to look at Ali. All these girls and you just can't see it can you?"

"See what?"

"See that they're all playing the same game. Your being played here, you don't see it but I do. Your gonna get yourself hurt, if you don't stay away from her. She's like fire, you get too close and you'll get burned."

Noah shook his head at Maddy. "That's exactly what you said about Ali!"

"Aren't they the same person?!"
