**ONE MONTH LATER**

Bruce and I had been a couple now for the past month. Things were going great in our relationship and my family!  My uncle wasn't slammed with cases as he had usually been, and that psycho Jervis had finally been put into Arkham Asylum... where he BELONGS!!! So that means more bonding time with my good ol' uncle Jim.

We walked to class together, almost seemingly attached to the hip to one another.  We didn't want to seem like your cliche high school relationship where you practically acted like after every class you haven't seen each other in a year, so we tried to show our love for one another a more subtle and in our own unique way.

Here was my stop, the lockers right outside my painting class. I turned over to Bruce who was leaning against the lockers smirking at me as I held my overloaded binder in my arms, "How have things been at your place?" he asked, his eyes glistening, "Great actually, I've been able to spend more time with my uncle and I've been getting to meet a lot of people at his work... its wonderful! What about you?" Bruce's head bounced back as he laughed and replied "I'm glad to hear that (Y/N), Alfred and I have been sword fighting... He's been teaching me how to fight." I raised my eyebrows in somewhat of a surprise. "Hmm, Fighting?" He gave me another dorky smirk, "Yup, all so I can protect you and this city." I spat out "Well don't forget about yourself Bruce!!! I don't want you to have to worry about me all the time- I want you to focus on yourself too!" He beamed with happiness, "I-" The bell rudely interrupted Bruce, "I guess I'll tell you after school then- see you later (Y/N) Love ya!" he semi-shouted as he walked away from me "LOVE YOU TOO!!" I shouted, people began glaring at me and rolling their eyes at me... why was I like this.

I strolled into my painting class, quickly rushing to my chair before the final bell. I grabbed my headphones from my bag ready to plug them in and escape this broken world momentarily. I brought out my art supplies and got back to work on the art piece I had been working on for the past 3 weeks. I was almost done, and was proud of the work I had put into the piece. The brush hit the canvas and stroked itself, leaving a trail of paint behind, my mind was going along with the rhythm of the music. The beats. The melodies really had me inspired while doing my art piece. My head was buried into the canvas, not noticing anything or anyone around me. Next thing I knew I found dirty water pouring down my artwork, I gasped, quickly throwing my paintbrush on the table, and ripping the earbuds out of my ears. I found myself face to face with a golden haired girl. It was odd. I had never seen her throughout the whole school year. Her hair was perfectly spiraled into perfect swirls and curls. She gave me a sly smile. I ran over to the sink to grab myself a roll of paper towels to hopefully dry off the dirty water. I tried to save my painting but unfortunately it didn't survive. The paint was now dyed with dirty water. Any light colors on the canvas were now tinted with a dark black. "No- Why did you do that?" I yelled at her, she took a few steps closer to me "I was just trying to help." I snapped, "I DIDN'T NEED YOUR HELP NOR DID I ASK FOR IT. MY PAINTING IS RUINED THANKS TO YOU!" She sneered as I grabbed the canvas and brought it closer to me, propelling my backpack over my shoulder, "To be completely honest with you that painting was already complete trash."  Without controlling myself or inner rage I blurted " YOU'RE TRASH!" I found myself marching out of the room, pushing everyone out of the way as the bell rang. Inside I was filled from head to toe with complete frustration and sadness. I went to the bathroom to try to calm myself down, I placed my painting propped up against the wall as I splashed some water on myself. The bathroom seemed to be the only place not crowded with people. I took a few deep breaths, inhaled and exhaled at a steady pace staring at the sink as water flowed out of the faucet. "Aww. That's cute did you come over here to cry?" her voice was the only thing to spark the fire of rage within me. I spun my head towards her direction, turning off the faucet, "Why are you following me?" I barked, she prowled her way over to me "You're Bruce Wayne's little girlfriend?" I gave her an ugly look, she continued to babble on "I expected a little more from him especially because of the way he is." I gathered myself together and sassed back, "It's an honor that you're obsessed with me but ya need to tone it down a little bit cause now you're just crossing the creepy and stalker line. Thank you have a nice day-" I grabbed my artwork and pushed my way past her as her jaw dropped to the floor. Well.... that was a way to make an exit.
