"Quinn, do you really have to go back home today?", tanong ni Anthony habang papasok na si Quinn and her grandparents sa check-in area ng airport. Nag-offer si Anthony na maghatid sa kanila just to see Quinn before she leaves.
"Yes, Anthony.. I HAVE to be back by the 29th.", sagot ni Quinn.
"Why?", Anthony asked, while helping Quinn with her bags. "I really thought aabot ka pa ng New Year. Wala naman pasok diba? It's the holidays. I was expecting we could spend more time together. Minsan na nga lang tayo magkita."
"Well, there's this thing.." Quinn answered.
"What thing could be that important na kailangan ka pa talaga bumalik agad-agad?" tanong ni Anthony, curious ang mukha. Si Quinn naman , nagdalawang isip kung sasabihin niya or hindi. Napansin ni Anthony ang mukha ni Quinn kaya agad nitong sinabi. "Quinn, di ba I told you, walang magbabago. Just because I told you that I want to be more than friends doesn't mean that things have to change. You can still tell me everything."
But things have to change... not because you told me you want more than friendship.. but because I left my heart back home...
"Ah, uhm.. it's this play that I'm in..." sagot ni Quinn pagkatapos bumalik sa katinuan, hindi man lang niya namalayan na ilang segundo palang lumipad ang utak niya.
"Play?? THE Quinn Buenavista is starring in a play?? Now that's something I've never heard before... Hindi ko alam may interest ka pala sa theater arts, nagBroadway sana tayo... Quinn, you always amaze me.." Anthony replied na parang hangang-hanga sa babaeng minamahal niya.
"No, no, no.." Quinn rebutted right away. "It's not what you think... It's just something I have to do for my grades."
"I liked you even before. You've fascinated me for all the years that we've known each other. But this..." Anthony said, while putting his hand out in the air, motioning from Quinn's head to her foot, then continued, "This Quinn that I am looking at right now...This 'woman' in front of me....just completely blows me away."
