(DAYU)
Present time...
It's International Children's Day all over the world and here in China we decided to celebrate it by having a children's theme fair on the biggest park on the Capital.
The organizers and event people picked the big park to put up different sweet stalls, food stalls, photo booths, a bouncy castle, playpen full of tiny balls, an arcade, magic shows and small carnival rides.
As the King and the King's Consort, we are obligated to attend these kinds of events but the truth is, this is no hard chore for us.
With our two children, Prince to the Crown Yonggan and Princess to the Crown XianQiao, six and three years old respectively, we join other families to celebrate this day for children.
With XianQiao in my arms, I watched fondly as Qing and Yong played a game of shooting on arcade basketball. Yong has strong arms for a six years old and he can throw those medium size ball hard enough to kiss the ring. No shots yet but we are not losing hope.
Besides, with his father at his side, Yong is not interested in scoring any basket, he is watching Qing to learn how to throw the ball properly.
Yong is smart that way. He learns by watching people around him. He watched Qing the most but I think it's only natural for our son to have his King and sire as his hero.
After the basketball shoot out, we walked around the park. We are surrounded by the Royal Guards but we still managed to say our greetings to the people and families who attended this event sponsored by the Royal Family.
We stopped at the sweet stalls to buy candies for the children and to the food stalls to buy food for the adults.
Camera flashes around us, I am just glad that it is daytime so the children are not too suprised by the flashing lights. But media people were a constant features in events like this that we feel it's quite common now to have them around.
Besides, Yong and XianQiao had to familiarized themselves to being photographed. Together with the other Royal Families all over the world, we are also one the most photographed family in the world today.
Everyone just like to get a picture of our little and perfect looking family.
Qing gave a small and inspiring speech about taking care of our future generations. Hope is what he calls the children. As he put his hand on Yong's head and smile down at our son standing beside him on the stage, Qing said that he knew the future will be bright because his "hopes" are beautiful and bright.
He is also referring that term to our two children.
He wished everyone's future to be bright as well at the end of his speech. After visiting more game stalls and talking to the visitors of the fair, we waved goodbye to the people and entered the Royal transport.
XianQiao took a nap in my arms while Qing still entertains our son.
As much as possible we try to be hands on parents to our kids. The Prince and Princess are growing up too fast. In the last two years, Yong grew a foot taller while Xianqiao is walking and talking now.
Yong started attending school too. His star stickers are being diligently collected by his nanny, the same one he always had. I trust her because she had been with us since Yong was born.
"Did you had fun at the fair my Prince?" I asked him as our son turned his attention from Qing to me.
"I do Papa!" Yong lost his lisp now. He can talk straight and clearly. I miss his "I rub you" but it is satisfying to hear his "I love you"s to us. "I hope we can do this everyday," Yong added.
