Xarius

I'm lying on the bed of Jm's guest room. My eyes are on the ceiling like something caught my whole attention.

I'm smiling here like an idiot because of what just happened earlier. It may sound gay but the hell I care! I'm still a human too. I felt my cheeks heat. 'How gay are you now Xarius?' I shook my head of the thought. 'Ohh, Jm why are you doing this to me?"

Afterwards, I sat properly. I remembered why I fake sleep earlier. The letter. I quickly tap my back pocket to make sure if it is there.

When I felt the envelopee in my hand I picked and read the writing in it.

Jastyne Mia S.

The handwritting is very familiar to me. I just don't know where it came from. Before I read the letter I texted my sister to say that I'm not going home tonight because something came up.

Sis, I'm here at your ate Jastyne's house. I'll stay here tonight just tell dad okay? I'll go home in the morning right away. Goodnight sis, have a sweet dreams. Pray first okay?

After I send that I gave my full attention to the letter I'm holding right now. I was really curious about this letter because this isn't a letter from Jm's parents. And this is the first time that someone wrote a letter to Jm besides her parents.

Flashback

I'm now sitting on the sofa with a girl sleeping beside me. Tsk. Napasabak ako kanina dun dahil sa kanya. Jm excused herself earlier to call Manang Dina about the girl condition. I forgot her name again.

Something caught my attention it's a rose and its color was fading and under that an envelope more like a letter. Tumayo ako at pumunta kung saan ito nakalagay. Kakaiba ang pagkasulat ng pangalan ni Jm pero napakapamilyar sa akin hindi ko lang alam kung saan ko ito nakita.

I heard a sound of a door open upstairs I immediately picked the letter, put in my back pocket and hurriedly sit in the couch. I close my eyes as an idea came up in my mind.

In a minute I hear Jm's footsteps, it looks like she's going down the stairs. In a minute I felt something it's like her breath in my face and right away my heart beat fast. 'What are you doing Jm?' I decided to open my eyes and I saw her face so close to mine.

Parang nagslow motion ang pagkapula niya at umiwas ng tingin. Ang cute niya talaga kapag namumula. Napapangiti ako ng patago. "Ahh, gigisingin na dapat kita para sabihin na sa guest room ka na lang matulog." Nauutal niyang sabi na nakaiwas padin ang paningin sa akin.

'Hmm? May epekto pala ako sa kanya kahit paano.'

I stand and nodded in response but I stayed for a minute at tumingin sa babae na tutulog pero ang totoo tinatago ko lang ang pagngiti ko. "Ako na bahala kay ate." sabi niya na hanggang ngayon nabubulol.

To be honest I want to laugh right now because of her. Ang cute niya talaga. Bago pa ako matawa sa harapan niya nagsimula na ako maglakad sa may guest room. Isang guest room lang meron si Jm for sure ung babae na yun sa kwarto niya matutulog.

"Good luck Jm ang bigat pa naman niyan." Bulong ko sabi at lumingon kay Jm na nakangiti "Goodnight my princess." Pagkatapos kong sabihin ito ay pumasok na ako na nakangiti padin.

"Ohh Jm! I love you this much!" I said while laughing out loud.

End of Flashback

I opened the envelopee and saw a picture of a girl standing --Jm at walang sulat nakalagay dito. Nang ibabalik ko na sana ang litrato nakita ko may nakasulat sa likuran nito. Hindi gaano kahaba ang nakasulat pero makahulugan ito para sakin.
