The chilling tone from the second still continued to replay through my head. It was a tone that I couldn't easily forget and a tone that still gave me an eerie feeling, it was like a brush with death. It was making me curious and that curiosity was killing me. With a deep breath I stop dead in my tracks and go back to the  door but sudden thoughts of the second and that icy glare quickly made me rethink this decision as I back away from the door and take off through the now quiet corridor as I try to gather my thoughts. The secrets felt almost never ending in this place. "Hello again Sister Pandora." That Italian accent sends chills across my body as I look up and glance over my shoulder. "Oh hello there Papa." I stop walking, allowing him the chance to actually catch up to me. "Sister allow me to apologize for my brother's actions. He is a cold soul, but sadly that is the way he has always been." I give a nod as I look at him. "It's not your job to take responsibilities for your brother's actions so please do not allow this burden to weigh heavy on your mind." He shakes his head. "Sister, you are an amazing addition to our clergy, I see much potential within you and I would hate to lose such an addition due to my brother's ignorance." I take a deep breath. "Forgive me Papa but I am here for a reason and I do not intend on leaving over something as insignificant as that." He gives a nod as he takes my hand. "I was hoping that you would accompany me my dear sister. My head is a whirlwind at the moment and your presence would be feel amazing right now, it keeps me calm..." His voice trails off as his gloved hands cup mine. "Come along now sister." He says as he leads the way through the corridor without saying another word, the bar room was the same scenery as before. I look around in a bit of a daze until Papa captures my attention. "Sister would you like a glass of wine?" With a simple nod I send him on my way as I catch a chill running over my body causing me to shiver. I glance over with no surprise I catch the icy stare of the second. I take a deep breath as we lock eyes, he gets up from his stool and slowly makes his way to me with a glass of wine in his hand. "Hello Sister Pandora, I hope you can forgive me for our little awkward encounter. As I'm sure you can understand it's been a very long and tiring day so please forgive me." He reaches out and holds my hand as he keeps his eye contact. "Of course we all have those days." "Yes." He says with a slight nod. "Sister would be so kind to join me for a little walk in the corridor, it's a little crowded in here wouldn't you agree?"  "I guess so.." I say with a bit of a soft tone as I continue to glance over in Papa's direction as he speaks to a few brothers. "I guess I should tell Papa." "No no." He says as he slips his arm around my shoulder. "He is the Pope, it is rude for a sister to interrupt him with such foolish matters now come." He says as he leads me out the door. Any uneasy feeling I continued to push down after all surely he had no intentions of hurting me. I'm just a simple sister I'm not as nearly important as Sister Imperator. Even with his arm around my shoulder I still felt cold with him, he had no warmth what so ever. Which only added to the awkward moment.
