I take a deep breath as I smooth out my dress then fix my habit again, almost for the millionth time. Everything had to be perfect, one single thing being out of place not only looked bad on a brother or a sister but was also poor representation of our clergy. A poor representation of the clergy was like a slap to Papa's face. On a normal day with the typical meeting for a ritual or even mass there would be a small amount of chatter involving various topics, however today had a completely different tone to it. It was almost eerie, as I make my way into the chapel there wasn't a single word. Every single brother and sister sat quietly either looking down at the floor or looking straight ahead. Omega quickly waves me over, I start to smile as I make my way over to sit next to him. "Pandora I just want to apologize." He whispers as I give him a confused look. "You know for springing all of that upon you like that, I really shouldn't have done such a thing and I'm sorry. The last thing I want is for you to be sitting here out of guilt, so please I hope you don't feel like you absolutely have to sit here next to me because I would never want that." He sighs as he looks down at his hands. "Seriously, don't say something like that because I'm sitting here because I want to, not because I feel like I have to so please don't think something like that. You seem like a really nice guy so me being here is because I happily accepted your invitation nothing else." As he looks up his eyes seemed to have a certain sparkle to them as he nods. "That's really means a lot-" His words cut off as soon as the lights in the chapel go off, the only source of lights came from the red ceremonial candles. My attention immediately goes to Papa who was taking his place at the alter. "Brothers, sisters please rise for our elder Emeritus, without him and his vision this glorious monastery would not be. Without his intelligence and never say die attitude we might not be standing here with one another as a strong family. Under our dark lord we are all brothers and sisters and our purpose is to serve him. Without this monastery I can say with full confidence that a union such as this could not be. Now this special mass is not about me so I will shut up." He chuckles a bit then clears his throat. "I would like to welcome our beloved elder Emeritus and of course my brother the second." He backs up and bows slightly as the large oak doors open, as the elder and second both appear into the chapel. We all start to clap as we watch them walk up. Papa kneels down in front of the the eldest and takes his hand and kisses it, then does the same to the second who just gives him a nod, receiving a look of disapproval from the eldest. "Silence my children." The older man says as he raises his arms. "Please be seated." He clears his throat the follows up with a few minutes of silence as he just looks around. "My children we have a time of great change and celebration upon us, the great blood moon." We all start to cheer and clap until he makes a motion with his hand. "Silence, although this may be a time of great celebration it is also a time where others will try to place a veil over your eyes. Trickery will slowly try to work it's way in. For years small monasteries have envied us, wanted what we all have but we have stood the test of time, but we must not get cocky and lose sight of things. In times like these we must all band together. The others out there will try to trick one of you so please my children take this warning to heart, we must not let our guard down for trouble is just on the horizon. I have seen it many nights in a row and now I am here to warn each and every one of you."
