Chapter 9: Do I know you?

I stared at him. How did he know that?

I said to him, "How...??"

He replied, "Never been to Skeleton Creek before, have ya?"

I couldn't believe this, "It is Skeleton Creek! Omg, this can't be happening!" I said.

He stared at me like I had lost it. He had no idea how right he was.

"You! You are Ryan McKay!!" I said to him.

"How do you know my name?" He replied.

"Omg!! I love Skeleton Creek!" I yelled to the sky.

"Hey, listen to me! Who are you and how do you know my name?" He demanded.

"My names Sky and...." I stop mid sentience.

I couldn't tell him I read the book he was in, he really would think I was crazy.

"Ummm, lucky guess?" I say with a smile.

"No way yo-"

"Ryan! Who is this?"

A girl runs up behind Ryan and looks at me confused

"Sky...I think. Where were you, Sarah? I've been waiting for half an hour!" He replied to her.

"Couldn't find my camera." She said.

"Sure." He replied.

I watch them as they talk and then interrupt.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"Since she know so much about me and you, Sarah, maybe we should take her with us?" He asked.

"I'm down with it" she replied.

"Okay, Sky, Welcome to Skeleton Creek!" He said with a smile.
