Chapter twenty! To be honest I wasn't sure I would get here but I am happy that I did. I am grateful for every person reading my story - I appreciate it all. I sincerely hope that you like it and I would be happy to receive comments and feedback.

Sorry for posting at such random times, just occasionally an idea hits me and I can't stop writing for hours. The following chapter is a long one but I can't just separate it in pieces. Love you all

January 13, 1996

After escaping and taking my wand, I was careful of my every decision and action. It was wisest to go to the Lord himself but how would I know where he was? Looking back to Azkaban I saw the Dark Mark like a lighthouse into the night. What a lighthouse that was.

I would've chuckled if I wasn't as determined as I was.

The brightest decision in this case would be to go to my sister's. Rumour had it the Malfoy family was quite the ally.

I had to talk to Tom or the Dark Lord. I needed answers no one else could provide but I also missed my dear sister.

I apparated to their mansion, loving the feeling of my own wand in my hand. My own hand. If I played my cards the right way, I would be having control to my body for the near future.

It was still nighttime but the mansion was bright, almost like fire. I was scared but there was no place for such emotion. I had a duty to myself to fulfill. You know, the usual: a meet and greet with my sister, asking for this and that, also throw some revenge while you are at it.

Too bad there was no time for joking around and sarcasm. The grasp of the Dementors was gone and I kinda wanted those things.

As I reached the port of the mansion I took a deep breath. The mask was on and I had to act like the bitch Voldemort had made me.

Making my grand entrance and throwing a lightning bolt just for effect. Oh, I had missed my magic. Soon as I nearly reached the front doors, I saw my sister, her husband and her boy.

Just when I was nearly there, an owl flew to me. White as bone, it dropped a long piece of paper.

"Well, well, well. If that isn't my dear sister, Narcissa Malfoy. Pleasure seeing you."

I smiled and tilted my head upwards.

"You should read that, it is likely from the Dark Lord himself." she mused and I was certain that she had already seen through me.

"Nonsense. Lucius, lovely seeing you as well, it's been a while."

Lucius, with his almost white hair, looked quite pale. Good. He was scared and completely oblivious so he just nodded.

"And if that isn't my nephew, I have been waiting to meet you again. It's been sixteen years. You grown up pretty nice, haven't you?"

"Draco, nice to meet you Bellatrix." he said hesitantly. I smiled at him. Pity I had to lie.

"Now, let's get matters settled. I had been craving actual food and a bath for years." and with that I went inside and the family followed. Perfect.

I took all my precious time, I had every right to. I got all the best lotions and creams in the House. Narcissa had them provided them for me. She had been expecting me. We didn't have much time to chat but that would come. And the shock. The shock in her eyes would be visible even to a blind would see it. And if not, anybody would sense it.

When I finished, I dried my hair with a quick spell and used another spell of my own to relax my curls and make them into waves. I braided it, oh I had missed the feeling of cleanliness.
