Emma's  POV

  I had been keeping the news in too long. I hope they don't hate me when I have to come clean and finally tell them.

Cora's POV

  She'd been lying for too long. I had seen the paper in our office long before she started to clam up and shy away. Was she even going to tell us? Or was she just going to get up and leave. Like everyone else in my life.

Mitch's POV

  Cora came to me the second she saw the letter. We had both been expecting Emma to pull something like this, we had just hoped otherwise.

Jason's POV

  She was leaving. That weird spark of fire. That... unique laugh. it was going to be gone by Tuesday. Emma would be gone.

Avery's POV

  It's not like she's dying. I mean sure... I'm upset but everyone else is all emotional and crap. Why can't they just suck it up like adults and let her move on with her life. It's about time.

Adam's POV

  I wasn't going to let her go. Nothing, I mean nothing was going to keep me away from her. I didn't care where that dank college was, or that she was trying to keep us in the dark. I didn't bye that promise ring for nothing.

Cora's POV

  Emma is leaving for college in two days time. And she wasn't going to tell us.

Emma's POV

  "We need to talk." She whispered in my ear angrily. What did she know... what didn't she know?

"I'm sorry Cora. But yes, I'm leaving for college in Iowa, and nothing you say is gonna stop me."
