Mitch's Meeting Part 3

Cora's POV

"Jason," I leaned into Jason, I didn't want the others to hear, they might jump to conclusions. "I think... I think I saw-"

"Cora! Watch where you're going!" Adam grabbed my arm quickly and pulled me away from a possible crash. "Do you ever look up when you walk?"

"I don't multitask well thank you very much." I said crossing my arms. I would tell Jason later.

"Whatever, Jason, I need to go exchange something, mind coming with?" Jason looked my way and I have him an encouraging nod.

"Stop worrying about me, love, I can handle myself." Jason just laughed at my statement.

"Sure you can, now, don't get lost in Belk." I came extremely close to slapping him then. I got lost ONCE! I mean come on, that store had three floors, it was only a matter of time before I couldn't find the exit.

"Hey, it's not my fault that their original plan was to lock you in and only instal one fucking door. Not my fault that their architecture is shit." Adam gave me a discouraging look. What's his problem?

"Anyways, back on track, lets go." Emma grabbed my arm and walked me towards Holster.

Mitch's POV

"Okay, now this is the last time I'm going to ask you, are you sure about this?" She just nodded with an exasperated sigh.

"Mitch, you over think things. All it is is a couple of friends seeing each other after a... Long time?" The last part was hard for her to word. We had all sorta tried not to keep in touch. It wasn't anything personal, it was just because of after everything that had happened to Olivia, we took extra precaution with keeping certain friends in touch.

"Come on, think I see them." I said direction her in the right direction.

"Really? Where?" She started to wander, and that have me time to call Jason.

Me: where u guys @?

Jason: near Holster, you?

Me: sorta, almost there. We've had some distraction tho

Jason: well hurry up. Cora's getting impatient.

Me: of course she is

Jason: what the hell is that suppose to mean?

Me: no, we are not doing this now. Forget I even said anything.

Jason: ...

Me: I'm almost there.

Jason: I see u

And with that, I turned off my phone and order her to get behind my back.

"What? Do we really have to do this?" She asks as she looked up at me with pleading eyes.

"Yes! If you want your arrival to be a surprise that is." I hissed.

"Don't get an attitude with me Mitch. You know you won't win." I didn't say anything in reply. I would never admit it out loud, but I could never win an argument going against her.

Cora's POV

"So, remind me, we're waiting for Jason and Adam now, correct?" Emma was getting impatient and asking obvious questions.

"Yes, and they're almost her, their now coming out of JCPennys." I said checking my messages.

"Oh good, I see them." Jason swaggered over to me and quickly kissed me.

"Still no sign of Mitch and his 'surprise'?" Jason asked. God he was cute when he smiled that crooked smile of his.

"Actually, Bajan is now making his entrance." I heard Mitch's voice from inside the store.

"Well, actually, Mitch and I are making an entrance." I sweet, yet slightly southern accent called out. Mitch was now at the steps holding his hand out for the thin, smiling brunet.

Emma turned her back to hide her expression. Jason's mouth was wife open and he grabbed my shoulder to keep himself steady. My expression was blank, but if you knew me well enough, my eyes spoke for me.

"Guys, I'm back." The young woman smiled our way and right then did I finally run up to her ad hug her.

"Its been three years. No contact, no notice, just get up and leave. And I hate you for it. But right now, it's good to have you back," I smiled and stepped back.

"It's good to see you again Avery."

Hope you like the chapter, it took some..... Inspiration. No matter, but for real? I'd really appreciate it if you left a comment or a vote on this chappy. Also, so spoilers, but I'm having some trouble at school right now and I think it's best if some characters... Are.... Removed? I guess that's the right word.
