Raindrops

As the rain drummed against the car roof

As the car snailed through the traffic

As the backseat windows slowly turned foggy

And as the sad music drifted into her soul

A spate of memories flooded into her lonesome brain

Like a gush of tide in the sea

One after another, she started reminiscing

One after another, she started living in them once more

Smiles turned to gloom

As she felt something missing in her heart

Something stirred, and once again

She found herself falling apart

Though her tears weren't the only ones streaming down

The raindrops rolling down the windows silently, steadily

Convoyed her weeping soul this time
