Last Summer

Chapter 1: And There He Was

Olivia

I was listening to music as we drove through the curved roads mountain-side, my father wouldn't tell any of my family members where we were headed for the summer. He said that he wanted it to be "a surprise".

After about 2 hours we were finally there, it was a big beautiful cottage surrounded by nature. From the moment I saw it I was in love with this place!

We started to unpack our things, the house was even more beautiful inside. My little sister Sophia, my older brother Lucas and I decided to explore the house we all chose are rooms and they we're totally awesome!

My little sister Sophia is 6 years of age and my brother Lucas is 21 years old, and i'm the middle child yep right in the middle of Sophia and Lucas i'm 17 years old.

Being the middle child is not what it's made out to be though, its actually not bad at all. Other then the fact that it's almost like I have two dads, my brother Lucas is so protective of me and i hate it.

Trust me I love my brother but I mean sometimes he needs to chill.

I went outside to check out the view of the lake, and it was so gorgeous. Then something caught my eye.

There was this boy.

This Boy, he was mesmerizing he was way more gorgeous then the view of the lake.

I couldn't stop staring at him, luckily he hadn't noticed. He was so focused on a book that he was reading.

His hair was a dirty blonde type colour and it was short, every so often he would run his hand through it and make it stand up straight.

He was wearing black ripped jeans and a blue t-shirt.

Some guys on a boat drove by and yelled out "Kade, c'mon man!" he got up grabbed his denim jacket and walked down to the water, he hopped into the boat and they drove away.

I was about to walk inside when out came running Sophia. She was jumping up and down saying "Olivia, Olivia do you want to go swimming with me?!" I responded "sure let me just but my swim suit on"

I went to my room and found my swim suit, i had just bought a new one it was quite basic though it was a white and black bikini but it suited me well.

I put it on, grabbed a towel and took my hair out of the pony-tail it had been in for the past 4 hours.

I ran down stairs to meet up with my little sister.

By now we had bee swimming for almost about two hours and it started to get dark so we decided to get dried of.

As I was getting out of the water I hear a boat coming my way, I turn my head and it's the same boat that came to pick up Kade earlier.

I ran my hand through my hair to push it backwards still looking back at the boat, and that's when our eyes met.
