She was amazing! We were alike in so many ways, she was so perfect.

I couldn't help but wonder if she felt the same way.

She was beautiful, smart, funny and she was into the same things as me, and plus we both love reading which just makes her even more perfect!

I found it weird that my mother hadn't come outside to look for me last night.

"I'm gonna head inside and get some breakfast, i'll catch up with you later okay?" I said yawning.

"Yea, sounds great see ya' later." she replied waving and walking up to her house.

When I had walked inside my mother was making some coffee in the kitchen.

"Hey mom" I said to her, she gave me a smirk and asked "so who was that girl?"

I knew it, I replied "umm, that's Olivia her and her family are going to be staying in the house next to this one over the summer."

My mother just smiled and continued making her coffee.

2 Weeks Later

Olivia and I had become best friends over the past two weeks, and it was great!

I was really starting to like her, as more then friends.

I was planning on asking her out I just didn't know how, plus her dad and brother were super protective.

Her dad is great though, I wish my dad was still around.

When I was 13 years old my mom had just found out she was pregnant with my youngest sister, but my dad didn't want another child.

So he left, he walked out on us. 3 years later we had heard that he had been thrown in jail for "a reason so bad we could not be notified of it" at least that's what the police told us.

After we got that news I knew for sure that I would have to be like a father figure to my sisters, and I was.

Before my father left we lived in Beverley Hills with a mansion and the nicest cars, my dad got paid tons of money and my mom was a 'stay-at-home-mom'.

My parents were the type that you would see on T.V, those couples that everybody looked up to and suddenly they weren't.

My mother didn't let it bring her down though, she's now the owner of a major company and bought an even bigger house in beverly hills.

Anyways, I decided on the way I would ask Olivia out on a date. Take her out on a romantic boat road with the moonlight shining upon the water. So I texted her and told me to meet me down by the dock in 10 minutes.

I walked outside to wait for Olivia, I leaned up against the porch railing facing the lake, a few minuted later she walked outside. She was wearing ripped jean shorts and a white crop-top her hair was loose and wavy.

This girl looked beautiful without even dressing up.

"Hey." she said with a smile, she continued "whats up, why did you want me to meet you out here?"

"C'mon, lets go on a boat ride." I said nodding to the boat waiting for us. She followed me as I led her down to the boat.

I held her and in mine as I helped her on the boat, then I got on. She questioned me saying "Um, so what's this all about, where are we going?"

"You'll see, relax" I said, starting the boat engine. She sat towards the front of the boat with her hair blowing back in the wind as I drove the boat on the quiet lake.

When I reached the destination out on the lake, I stopped the boat engine. She had a confused look on her face, "what are we doing here? It's beautiful, i'm not complaining. Just confused." she said.

I stood up from the drivers seat, walked over to her and sat down. "Well I brought you out here because I have something to ask you, since the moment I first saw you I liked you. And thats why I would like to ask you out on a date?" I said.
