Kade
She was stunning the way her eyes sparkled in the sunlight, it blew me away.
She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
I finally snapped back into reality when I heard my friends yelling "Kade, dude were here!"
I got off the boat waved to my friends and walked into the house we had been staying in.
I walked in and my mom was preparing dinner, "hey ma" i said to her in a soft tone of voice. "Hi honey" she replied cheerfully. "How was being out with the boys?"
"Oh it was great, i'm gonna miss em' after this summer." I replied, I saw my little sisters playing with their dolls on the couch, I smiled and headed up to my room.
My little sisters we're great, Ava the youngest was 5 years of age. And Emily was 8 years of Age, it was a huge difference between the two of them and I, I was 18 years old. When my youngest sister was born I was 13 and that's a pretty drastic difference.
I looked out my window to see if that girl was still there, and she was. My heart started beating really fast , I decided to go out and say hi.
I snuck out the back door of the house so my mom wouldn't question where I was going, I walked over to her. In one hand she was holding her towel around her shoulders, and in the other she was holding her phone, seemed as though she was on instagram.
I said "Hey, I'm Kade,"
Olivia
Holy smokes Kade had just introduced himself to me, and he was so sweet.
He said "Hey, i'm Kade." though I already knew his name, he didn't know that. He continued "Are you staying in this house over the summer?" Pointing at my house.
"Um, yea!" How about you are you staying in the house next to mine over the summer?" I asked.
"That's awesome! Hopefully we can get to know each other a bit better!" He replied enthusiastically.
"My name is Olivia, by the way!" I said. "Well, nice to meet you Olivia!" He replied.
"Are you gonna be staying outside for a bit?" I asked hopefully.
"Yea, I mean if you are." He replied.
Still being in my wet bathing suit, i said to him "Would you mind if I just went and put on some clothes, I just got out of the water from swimming."
"Yea, of course! I'll wait here!" he said. "Great!" I replied.
I ran up to the house and went up to my bedroom, I looked in my drawers for something to wear, since it was the evening and it was getting a bit cooler outside I decided to throw on a pair of denim ripped jeans, and an olive green shirt with a criss-cross back to it.
I rolled up my jeans and put on my white converse. I dried off my hair, and flipped it over to the left side.
I shoved my phone in my back pocket, and ran outside. Kade was still outside, like he said that he would be. He was leaned up against his porch railing looking out at the lake.
"I'm back!" I shouted loud enough for him to hear. "haha great!" he replied beginning to walk over to me.
"Oh shoot, I probably should have told my mom I was out here before she sends a search party for me! I said
"Haha do what you gotta do, I'll be right here." he replied smiling at the ground.
"Alright i'll be right back!" I promised.
I ran inside and shouted "Mom? Mom! where are you?"
"yes honey?" she said sitting up from the couch right in front of me. "Oh there you are, um is it okay if I hang out with a friend that I just met? he's staying in the house next to ours over the summer." I replied sounding hopeful.
"yea, thats fine hun just don't be out to late!" she exclaimed
"No worries mom, I won't be. Thanks!" I replied well walking out the door.
I walked back over to Kade still standing in the same spot where I left him. "Okay, I'm back for good now!" I joked.
We started talking, he told me about how he had just finished high school and he would be going to university to become a doctor. which was impressive, I told him how I was going to be going to university this year to become a lawyer.
And it turns out, we are the same age. Only he was born a few months before me.
We talked for hours upon hours, we had been sitting outside and he had made a campfire.
We saw the sun and checked the time, it was 5:30am we had been talking all night.
Shoot I totally did the opposite of what my mother told me to do.
