Last Summer

Chapter 8: Hungover

Olivia

Ugh I woke up with the worst headache possible, I didn't even knew what happened last night.

I turned on my phone and the screen lit up, it was so bright that defiantly did not help my headache.

Oh shoot  6 missed calls from Kade, I called him back. "Hey baby." I said with my voice raspy, because I had just woken up.

"Hey, hows that hangover?" he asked. "Ughh so thats what this headache is all about." I replied rubbing my forehead.

"You wanna take a walk in the forest?" he asked. "Sure, what time?" 

 "Umm, 20 minutes?" he replied. "You got it baby, see you in twenty." 

I walked over to my bathroom and had a shower, as i got out the steam filled the room. I walked over to the mirror in the bathroom wiped the fog off with my hands and looked at myself I look like a complete mess I thought to myself.

I out on a pair of Jean shorts a purple tank top, flipped my hair over to the side and put my phone in my back pocket.

I most defiantly could not show my parents I was hungover so hopefully they weren't downstairs yet.

And just my luck, my whole family was downstairs. My little sister Sophia was playing with her dolls, my brother Lucas was on his phone, my dad was making breakfast and my mom was drinking coffee sitting at the kitchen table and as I walked down their heads all turned to face me. 

"Good morning sleepy head." my mom said "what do you mean it's only like 10:00am" I exclaimed.

The sun was shining through the large windows and my head just hurt even more. "Umm i'm going to meet Kade, i'll see you guys in a bit." I said walking out the door.

Kade was standing on the driveway to his house, leaning up against his car looking hot, this boy didn't understand what he did to me.

"Hey beautiful." He said licking his lips. "Hey baby." I said trying to cover the fact that I was blushing. 

He walked towards me and pulled me closer for a kiss, and in that moment I forgot that I was even hungover.

I pulled away slowly, "what is up with you today?" I asked "What?" He asked confused.

"Why are you suddenly all 'lovey-dovey' whats gotten into you babe?" 

"Well I can't help it when I have a girlfriend this beautiful." he smiled and got back to kissing me.

We went out to take a walk in the forest, and as we were walking he asked me "do you want to do something special tonight?" with a smile on his face.

"depends what did you have in mind?" I asked, then he stopped looked down and held my hands in his. "well since, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and I love to see you all dressed up why don't we go to a fancy restaurant?"

"Baby i'd love to." I replied softly smiling at him.

Kade

When she smiled at me it was like nothing else in the world matters, it felt like it was just her and I and time is frozen.

She was so beautiful.

We walked back to the houses and I held her hands in mine, we walked in silence but we both liked it that way. 

When we got back I went into her house with her, she said that she 'wanted to show me something.'

We went upstairs and sat on her bed "so since your going to be meeting my friends when we get back to our regular lives i'd like to show you them." she said nervously looking at me with a smile.

"go right ahead beautiful." I replied to her. She smiled and pulled out her phone. Okay so this is my best friend Natasha, she's awesome i've known her since grade 6..." she continued, but I got lost in her beautiful green eyes.

Before we knew it, it was 5:30pm "oh shoot I have to get ready." she said jumping up from her bed. "Yea I better get ready to i'll pick you up in about an hour okay?" I said holding her close for one last kiss. She nodded her head yes and kissed me.
