Chapter 6: Friends

One week later

Kade

I decided to introduce Olivia to my friends. I had the feeling that this wasn't going to be the best idea.

I told the guys that I wanted them to meet somebody special to me, and of course after I told them, they were like "Ohhhhh Kade has a crushhh!"

Little did they know.

Olivia came over to my house to hang out, I greeted her at the door "Hey beautiful." I said with a Smile.

"Hey baby." She replied smiling back. To some people it may have seemed that we were moving quite fast for only knowing each other for about 5 weeks, but it feels as though i've known her my whole life.

She gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked passed me in the doorway, she took her shoes off and said "Hello Ms. Eastwood." she said to my mother with a smile that reached her eyes.

"Hello, dear!" my mother replied

"We're gonna go hang out in my room, okay mom?" I said. "yea of course honey." she replied.

I grabbed Olivia's hand signaling to her to  follow my lead, we began walking up the stairs that led to my room upstairs.

I opened the door for her to walk in, and closed the door behind us. She sat down on my bed and asked "So what do you wanna do?"

"Actually," I said hesitantly "I kind of told my friends that they could meet you today. Is that okay?" I asked worrying that she wouldn't be okay with it.

"Yea of course! I'd love to meet the guys that your always talking about!" She replied, she was honestly the best girlfriend a guy could ask for.

"Thanks babe!" I said. I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Do you wanna go get Ice cream?" She asked with a smile. "Yea, of course." I replied getting up and grabbing my car keys from the dresser that sat in front of my bed.

I nodded my head over to the door to leave my room, she got up from the bed and held my hand in hers.

We ran down stairs and just as we were almost out of the front door my mother stopped us and asked "Whoa, whoa whoa where are you two headed off to?" well peaking her head out from around the corner in the kitchen.

"where just going for Ice Cream." I replied well looking down at Olivia with a smile, she smiled back at me. When she smiled at me, that it felt like that was the only thing i'll ever need again.

My mother snapped me out of staring at her when I heard her yelling my name "Kade? Kade!"

Replying looking back at my mother I said"Uh, yea sorry mom what were you saying?"  

"I was saying, don't be out to late again! Now go on get your Ice Cream."

"Bye mom!" I said well walking out the door and waving.

We had just arrived back at the houses after getting Ice cream, and the sun was just about setting.

We heard some guys yelling from the back of the house so we went around to check it out.

Turns out my friends were there waiting for us on they're boat.

I told Olivia to wait on the dock, well I talked to them, I told them "okay guys that's Olivia." Not surprised that I was interrupted by Johny saying "Dang she's fine."

"Bro!" sounding angry, "that's my girl!" I said.

Jax replied "Yo that's 'Your girl'? Like you guys are official?"

"Yea man, and I really like her so please none of you idiots screw this up for me." I told them in a firm voice. "Ight' ight' we got it" Anthony said.

I called Liv over and introduced her to my friends, "Olivia this is Jax, Johny, and Anthony." I said.

"Hey nice to meet you guys, my names Olivia, but you can call me Liv for short." She replied

She was so good with them, I expected her to not quite fit in with them, but she was awesome. 

She was just like one of the guys.

We sat on the boat and talked for about an hour and a half, then Anthony pulled out a few beers and asked "aye who wants one?"

Olivia seemed kind of surprised when he pulled out the beers, she then asked "aren't you guys like my age? Your not the legal age to drink yet."

Jax replied, "nah Liv, I'm 21 Johny is 21 and Anthony is 22."

"Oh." She began to speak, "well if you guys are having a few I guess I'll have one."

"Whoa whoa whoa, is this your first drink Liv?" I said to her.

"Yea, so what?" She snapped back with a confident attitude.

"Liv I don't know if you should, your only 17." I replied to her.

"Kade are you my father now?" She snapped at me. I shook my head in a 'no motion'

I really didn't think she should be having a drink. But Jax handed her one anyways.
