Lindsey sat down, he loved his daughter so much already, it hurt him to think she was a little unwanted by Stevie, he would hate to do it but he would take legal action if need be

He didn't understand how Stevie could just distance herself from her own daughter like that. He knew that Stevie loved the baby, but she stopped showing it for some reason.

Walking into the bathroom he wanted to know what was actually going on

Stevie was in the shower, he could hear her pitifully crying as the shower echoed her sobs

"Steph...?" He quietly made his way in to where she stood

"Yeah?" Stevie looked sadly up at him

"What are you really frightened about?"

"Not being able to take care of her..."

"How so?"

"She's going to need special care and I'm terrified that I won't do it properly or I'll fuck something up like I always do."

"Your her mother, that's the best care there is! Are you...are you embarrassed by her? Please answer me honestly"

"No! Never!"

"Okay good! Are you worried she will take over your life?"

"No, she's a baby that's what she's supposed to do!"

"I mean when she gets older..."

"She's my little girl..."

"I'm trying to figure out why your so reluctant here!" He ran his fingers through his curls

"I've already told you!" She threw up her hands

"I kind of wish this had never happened..." he said quietly

"The baby...?"

"This whole thing"

"Oh..."

"I love you, I really do..."

"But I think that you should go..."

"I didn't mean I'd go"

"You regret us, I understand that and now I don't want you around."

"Baby, I regret what we've become! Your a mess, I'm stupid, and we argue all the time!"

"Then maybe we should separate for a little while."

"I can't be away from you..."

"Maybe we need to be..."

"Please?"

"Then how are these issues going to be solved?"

"I don't know okay!"

Stevie shut the shower door, "I need to be alone."

Lindsey stripped off and decided to get in with her

"Lindsey," she sounded truly frustrated

"Let me love you..."

"Please, I'm not in the mood."

Lindsey looked at her sadly and removed himself from the shower, apologising multiple times

Stevie was in the shower for a long time as Lindsey laid in bed waiting for her to get out

"Steph? You okay?" He shouted

"Yeah, just some cramping."

Lindsey bolted to the bathroom door, almost breaking his neck in the process
