Lindsey moped back to the hotel, everything just seemed so stressful no matter what he did!

Christine was coming out the door

"How's Stevie?"

"She's alright but the baby is iffy."

"She still having stress issues?"

"Yes."

"Why aren't you with her?"

"I made her upset....they asked me to leave."

"You going back later though right?"

"If they will let me."

"Lindsey...what does that mean?" She eyed him

"I will go back to see her if the staff allows me to. They said that I was the cause of her stress so I should leave."

"I told you two to stop arguing!"

"It's not that simple!"

"Then don't be together! That's simple!"

"We love each other!"

"I don't want you together if your going to hurt her!"

"That's not your decision!"

"I stayed with my ex husband for years, simply because we loved each other! We stayed together for that reason, but the truth was we just didn't match as a couple!"

"I can't leave her alone with a special needs baby!"

"I'm not asking you too sweetheart"

"I asked her to marry me."

"And what did she say?"

"She accepted!"

"That's great though right?"

"Of course it is."

"Alright...I was only asking"

"Goodnight, Christine."

"Linds please!" She grabbed his face, and they stared at each other

"What?"

"I'm not trying to be a bitch, she's just my best friend..."

"I know...I love her too."

"I know you do" she threw her arms around him and hugged him tight

"Thank you."

"Go back there, forget what they say!"

"Can you watch William? He is miserable there."

"Of course I can!" She took William and placed him on her hip "can I take him to the pool?"

"Yeah, that's fine," he nodded, kissing William before returning to the hospital

He got to Stevie's door when a nurse came out

"I told you to stay away!"

"Well I'm sorry but I can't do that," he brushed past her into Stevie's room

"Lindsey! I told you to go!" She glared

"I couldn't leave you like this...I love you." He took a seat next to her

"I love you...but you are hurting her!"

"I want to fix that," he gently placed his hand on her stomach

"You going to be calm around her?" She placed her hand on top of his, and they felt a kick

"Absolutely," he nodded
