I'm Telling Her

Lindsey walked around the hotel, trying to find where Stevie went, until he saw her in a hallway on the third floor

"Stevie!" He jogged up to her

The guy that was currently with her turned around at Lindsey's voice

"Come on, let's go home." He took her arm

"Um, I don't think so buddy!" The guy grabbed Stevie back a little to roughly

"Hey! Watch it!"

"Whats it to you?"

"She's my girl!"

"Your girl?" The guy scoffed, trying to take Stevie away

"Knock it off!"

"No..."

"She's got my kid inside her..." Lindsey said as a last resort

"What?"

"You heard me, now scram!" The guy couldn't get out of there fast enough

"What are you doing?!" Lindsey asked harshly as he led her toward the elevator

"I'm trying to feel loved!"

"You are loved!"

"But you wouldn't give it to me!"

"Not at my son's christening!"

Stevie sat on the floor of the elevator and cried , her hair now a mess. Lindsey suddenly noticed her dress was a little torn

Lindsey pressed he button to stop the elevator, he slid down and sat beside her, "What happened?"

"What do you mean?" She sniffled

Lindsey ran his hand over the torn part of her dress, "This...."

"I didn't want to do it...he did" she said trying to turn away from him

"Did he rape you?" His words tasted bitter in his mouth

"No he didn't. Just some heavy petting"

Lindsey held her against him, "You're safe with me now. I'm going to take you home and see that you're taken care of."

She nodded and he lead her away to the car, getting in and driving back to the house

"Do you want me to run you a bath?" Lindsey rubbed her shoulder as they pulled into the driveway

"Yes please, might soak up some of the alcohol"

Lindsey nodded and helped her to the bathroom, "I'll be right back."

Stevie tested her own bath whilst waiting for Lindsey to return, her hand slipping as she accidentally fell in

"Stephanie!" Lindsey barged in as he heard the commotion

"I slipped..." she cried holding her head

"Let me see," Lindsey cupped her face in his hands

He looked at her head where a lump was already forming, he knew it was going to bruise to

"I'll get you some ice."

"No just leave it..." she said stripping off her dress

"Are you sure that you are alright?"

"I'm always alright" she said getting into the bath, and making room behind her, silently asking him to join her

Lindsey stripped down and slid in behind her, wrapping his arms around her tightly, "Stevie, I'm going to find a way for us to be together."
