The Station

Stevie was just sitting in the cafe of the hospital after her appointment feeding Will, when someone said her full name

She turned to see who it was....

Looking at a police man, she lifted Will from the high chair

"Can I help you?" She asked

"We need you to come with us."

"What...why...?" She held the child tighter

"Please...we'll explain everything at the station."

Stevie went with the police, and they drove her to the station, walking in when she arrived she saw Lindsey sitting down biting his nails

"Thank God! Will!" He snatched the baby from her

"Hey...don't be rough..." she went to stroke Wills back

"Don't touch him! You've done enough!"

"What...? What did I do?" She asked tears in her eyes

"You took my son! I didn't know where he was! Do you have any idea how scared I was?!"

"I...I didn't think, I'm sorry..."

"You can't just leave with him like that!"

"I'm sorry, he's my nephew, you should know he'd be safe with me"

"I didn't know what the fuck happened! One minute I was running you a bath and the next minute both of you were gone!"

"Don't shout at me!" She covered her ears

"Then don't fucking take my child!"

Stevie began to cry, rocking back and forth on the spot

"Do you want to press charges?" An officer asked Lindsey

"No...I don't..."

She wouldn't stop crying, trying to take Will back desperately

"Stop!" Lindsey accidentally pushed her down

"Ow..." she squealed in pain, grabbing onto her small bump

Officers surrounded them, one took Will as two helped Stevie and the rest detained Lindsey

"It hurts..." she cried holding herself

"Do you need an ambulance?"

Stevie nodded as she cried, Lindsey trying to get to her

"Stephanie! I didn't mean to!" He cried, accidentally getting kneed in the face as he was taken to the ground, breaking his nose

Stevie looked over at Lindsey as blood poured from his nose and down his chin and neck

It didn't seem to phase him as he was more worried about her

"He...he didn't mean to..." she said weakly

"Baby!" Lindsey pled as they drug him toward the cells

"Let him go!" Stevie shouted

"Abuse is abuse." The officer holding Will explained

"He didn't mean to push me! He was keeping me from touching Will!"

"Ambulance is here!" An officer called out

Stevie was piled onto a gurney, and taken to hospital, where a scan was immediately done

"Everything seems to be alright. Are you in any pain at all?" The doctor asked

"A little bit, but not as much as earlier"

"Where are you hurting?"

"Just here..." she rubbed at the lower side of her belly
