"We are really sorry, Miss. We can't." The tall man who looked like hulk's relative spoke.

I blinked at him, trying to not trip in my intoxicated state. I was supposed to be looking intimidating and deadly. These men should fear my guts and strength. They are nothing but ants who deserve to be crushed under my feet.

"Look!" I pulled a nearby chair and climbed on it to be of his level. I tried pointing my finger at his face but ended up poking his nose. He sniffed and gently pushed my hand away.

"If you do not serve me the drink..." I started to threaten, "I'll see your end. You will regret rejecting my offer"

He simply stared at me. That was what the two men standing in the bar were doing. It was empty with every customer leaving and I'm here demanding for my rightful share.

"The bar has timings. We are closed for the night." The manager tried to explain. He had been doing that since half an hour and I commend the guy's patience.

"Which bar closes at 3 at night? It is party time!" I screamed at them.

The manager sighed and looked at the huge and tall alien.

"Follow the protocol" He told him and started to gather his things from the table. He stuffed some papers into a desk and slung his bag to his shoulders. He threw one last disgusted look at me before exiting through the main door.

Like I care.

"Who are you anyway?" I shouted at the manager who already left, "An undercover agent? 'follow the protocol'!" I mimicked him and laughed.

I turned my attention back to the hulk's relative. He narrowed his eyes at me and I returned him the same favor. If he thinks that he was scaring me, he can kiss his own ass. I doubt if it is possible with how much he weighs.

"You do not want to fight with me" He unfolded his hands from his chest and pulled up the sleeves of his shirt.

"You ever looked at your face? Your huge body cannot cover the baby features! I'm not scared of you!" I swayed on the chair and started to fall when the guy caught me.

I expected him to leave me but he did not. His arms were strong around my petite body. I struggled to get out of his grip and he was stronger than I thought.

Huh.

Maybe that's why these stinky men make muscles. They want us woman to look smaller and scared before them. Sasha would never let it happen. She will not bow before a man. She is meant to clean this earth of their atrocities and wickedness. They are selfish, sick, unintelligent and waste of space.

"If you don't put me down! I'll bite you!" I shouted.

"Be my guest, Miss" He said coolly.

I wanted to bite him. But I saw we had approached the door and he was carrying me out!

He was carrying Sasha out without giving her the drink! How dare he!?

"You better-" He did not let me finish and launched me out of the place and shut the door. I closed my eyes, expecting the hard blow of the road to hit my chest.

Instead, I heard a groan and my landing was soft. I let out a breathe and appreciated the road for realizing my worth. It knew who Sasha was. It knew you can't be hard on her because she is hardest, strongest, fiercest and best. I patted  it to let it know I liked how it gave me the VIP treatment.

"Will you stop hitting my face!?" The road said, irritated.

Whoa. It was even speaking to me. The hard, granite road which bears the weight of the worthless men thought I must be the one to hear it speak for the first time in the history of mankind. I should be proud.

"Excuse me!? Get off of me!" It complained again.

Wait. Why did it sound like a man?

"Why can't you sound feminine?" I asked it, trying to open my eyes which were threatening to shut down and drift into a deep sleep. If I did not want to get hit by a truck, I should not be sleeping here.

"How drunk are you? I am a man so I sound masculine. Get up!"

HE said.

A man! Sasha is on top of a man! Outrageous!

"How dare you pull me on top of you?" I accused him, looking at him for the first time.

He is the only thing worth paying attention to in the clan of men. He was panting, his chest heaving up and down. It was not clear from my dizzy state but I bet he hits the gym every day. His copper colored hair stuck to his face and he wiped the dust off of his coat.

He is beautiful

"I was only walking back to my house when you thought it would be okay to come crashing into me."

But he is still a man.

"You lie. Why will I crash into you?"

He sighed, "I think the bodyguard there helped you with it"

He saw that?

I do not care. No man can pull me on top of him even if it happened to be because a bar contender pushed me out and I lost balance and fell on him.

You did not fall on him..he pulled you!

"You are such a...shhhmmmaat" And I didn't know what happened to me after that.

I heard a 'Whoa' and hands gripped my shoulders. The bag which I clutched firmly in my hand was ripped away from my hold. If he was trying to steal, he will be disappointed. There was nothing in it. Not a penny. The debit card was empty after the transactions I made in the bar. I am bankrupt.

Another sigh and I was in the air. I tried to blink and saw the night sky right above me. I smelled Jaguar classic blue. It felt nice and comforting to smell something other than hookah and vomit. In no time, I was flying. My brown hair blew on to my face and I started to giggle. It felt like freedom. No boundaries were holding me captive. Nobody would tell me what to do. I can be myself and not cry over a life I lost. Because it was worth losing. I was not destined to be a slave. I was made to be a better person with command over her own life.

My parents wouldn't get it but I do. I cannot live a life to satisfy others. I have to explore myself. I have to let go.

For the first time it feels like I did. I am letting go of the bad memories. I was flying towards a brighter tomorrow. I will be appreciated for my talent and not be pulled down to serve someone.

But then I was not flying anymore.

Why? I want to fly!

The sound of something cracking and a loud thud followedI was being placed on something soft and gentle. My head rested on a fluffy material and I groaned.

"Err..Madam, Will you leave my collar?" Someone said.

"No" I said, smiling.

"What do I do with you?" The melodious voice said again.

I liked the texture of it. It was tense but warm. It felt like a cashmere blanket wrapping itself around me. The pain and anguish slowly leaving my body and happiness took its place. The voice belonged here with me. It was soothing my nerves like a dose of morphine. I can feel the same adrenaline rush through my body. It was not fear, it was fun. This was adventure and more.

"You want to know what you can do?" I did not leave my grip on his collar. I think he was very close to me. If I were sober, I wouldn't let a man get so near to me. I would send my knee to go hit his darkest kingdom and destroy his universe for a minute or two. This was different. His breathe on my face was traumatically good. He brushes twice a day unlike me.

I did not intend to say it but I said it anyway, "Try saving me if you can"

And I fell asleep.
