"Hey, Josh, will you come here for a minute?" Tyler yelled from the kitchen while he was washing dishes.
"Yeah what do you need?" Josh groaned entering the kitchen.
"Two things: will you help clean up, and I thought maybe we could go out today," the smaller boy said happily as Josh stood beside him with his shoulders slumped down.
"What would we do?"
"Does it matter?"
"Yes, it does."
"Not like you do anything."
"That's what I plan to do if you don't tell me," the older boy said getting frustrated.
"What's wrong?" Tyler said putting the dish down on the counter and then grabbing Josh's hand gently to hold.
"Too much, okay? Just leave it at that," the yellowed-haired boy said snapping at Tyler pushing his small, fragile hand away.
"No, I won't, just please tell me I'm here for you," the younger one said as he put a careful hand on his shoulder being afraid of denial.
"It's not a big deal."
"If it's not then tell me."
"Just go get ready."
"For what?"
"Our date,"Josh said hating the words but still wanting to mend their relationship that he shattered.
"Oh, okay," Tyler sadly said knowing whatever was wrong he wouldn't know.
Before the smaller boy could walk out of their kitchen he was turned around softly with a pair of lips gently touching his.
"I-I love you," Josh said not sure if he was telling the truth or a lie.
Tyler only embraced him and
kissed him gently as if he was so fragile he would break with one wrong move, which, wasn't far off.As fast as Tyler could, he put on a grey hoodie with ripped black skinny jeans to go with it.

"So, where are we going, Joshie?" Tyler said as Josh drove down an unfamiliar road.
"You'll see," Josh said flashing a believable fake smile.
Tyler only wrapped his frail fingers around Josh's hand.
