Holly looked up at her mother and gave her a sheepish smile. "Hi mother," she waved.
Jennifire ran up and gave her mom a hug, which was returned. But it ended quickly.
"Do you girls think that you can just run off unnoticed? I'm disappointed in you. All three of you," her mother lectured.
"Wait, what do you mean all three of us?" Jesse asked nervously.
"I'm disappointed in you too, Jesse. Aside from you being my daughter, you were under my watch and care while you were here," she replied simply.
Jesse looked down, defeated.
"Um, mother... You do realise that we are trying to save the world?" Holly offered.
"Obviously," Mrs. Nicholas said. "But that was still an unacceptable thing for you to do." She looked at a clock above the door and sighed. "Holly and Jenni, would you be dears and go fetch your father? I... I would like some private time with the twins."
Holly nodded and grabbed Jennifire's hand. "C'mon, let's go get dad." Jennifire giggled and ended up pulling Holly.

Alyssa looked at Mother Nature, or Mrs. Nicholas, or even her mother. It was weird for Alyssa to think of her as a mother, the only mother she had known her whole life was Serene. And even she had died when Alyssa was only two years old.
"My girls," Mrs. Nicholas pulled Alyssa and Jesse into a big hug. "Oh there's so much I need to tell you. About the war, and Cyrus, and you two!" She pulled away and sighed. "Ah, but I suppose it'll be to hard to explain. I'll have to show you. When your finished, tell Holly and Jennifire I've left to visit my father."
"What-" Alyssa was cut off by Mother Nature touching her forehead with the tip of her finger. Alyssa was in a sudden daze, wondering around the room at random. She was able to hear and feel and see everything, bug wasn't in control of what she was doing. I assume this is how Jesse felt while being Violet...
"Don't hurt yourself girls," Mrs. Nicholas said while opening her door to leave. "That wouldn't be wise." And with that, it was just Alyssa and Jesse wandering around her room.
Alyssa thought that he had been tricked, until the visions appeared.
•••~•••
Four young girls were playing in a garden. They looked to be aged ten, eight, six, and four. The oldest looking one had Raven black hair and snow white skin, like Holly. Her eyes were sparkling blue, and she was playing with the youngest looking girl. She had bright blonde hair pulled into pigtails, and emerald eyes.
The other two girls were chasing each other. Alyssa instantly recognized one as a six year old Mother Nature. The last girl had soft orange hair and hazel eyes.
Alyssa was confused. Why was she seeing this? She turned to look at a small house sitting near the garden. There was a back porch, and an open door with the scent of baking cookies. As Alyssa neared it, she could hear a woman's scream and a man's sobbing.
The four girls all stopped what they were doing and huddled close together, nervously glancing at the house.
"Winter," the smallest girl asked the oldest. "Are mama and papa ok?"
The oldest, Winter, picked the youngest up, her eyes filling with years. She mumbled something, then whispered, "Autumn, Summer, c'mon."
"What? Winter we can't leave!" The orange haired girl said.
"Autumn, papa told me about this. We have to go. Now!" Winter grabbed Autumn's hand with her free one. "Summer, keep up!" She called over her shoulder as she ran into a forest behind the garden.
Summer, the younger Mother Nature, gave one last look at her home before running after her sister. But she kept stumbling and tripping.
"Wait!" Alyssa called out. "Winter don't leave her!" But her cried were useless. Winter, Autumn, and Spring were disappearing into the distance while young Summer was sobbing on the ground. She had tripped, and couldn't see her sisters.
"I'll help you," said an icy voice Alyssa recognized instantly. She almost called out to Summer to refuse before the scene changed.
Alyssa stood in a dark room. The only light was in a corner and very faint. She recognized her mother, Summer, on her knees crying.
"No! Not again, please!" She cried out. Summer looked to be about eighteen years old.
"I've let you live a normal life," said the icy voice. "And I let you forget all the horrors in it. You'll thank me soon enough." Cyrus's laugh filled the room with faint sobbing sounds coming from Alyssa's mother. Then, the scene before Alyssa shifted once more.
She was now in a brightly colored room. The walls were bright purple, and all the furniture was varying shades of pink. A baby was crying in a cradle.
Alyssa wearily walked over to look. The baby looked to be about a year old. She had sparkling blue eyes and jet black hair. She stopped crying when she saw something behind Alyssa.
"My dear Syra," Mother Nature sobbed, picking the baby up. "I hate to do this, but your father gives me no choice."
The baby, Syra, cooed and played with Mother Nature's hair. For a moment, the two looked peaceful. Until Mother Nature started to sob once more and set the baby back into the cradle.
"Syra, dear. Mommy will be leaving for a while. You'll find me soon. I know you will," Mother Nature said, before running out a door.
All Alyssa could hear were the screams of an infant before the scene changed one last time. Alyssa was face to face with a familiar face. The sparkling blue eyes and jet black hair, among with many other features that resembled Syra were now in front of Alyssa. But now, she looked about fifteen years old.
She was wearing a dark purple t-shirt with black pants and metallic purple combat boots. Her hair was down and messy, like she hadn't brushed it for years.
But now that Alyssa was face to face with this girl, she realized that Syra looked very much like someone that she despised.
Cyrus.
