i walked down the block to the towns bus station and sat on the bench. getting grayson's help is going to be harder then i thought.

"cool hoodie" i heard someone say behind me

i turned around and saw a girl who looked maybe a little older then me, then i looked down at my 'revenge' hoodie from drakes concert

"thanks i got it at his concert last year" i said

"what's your name?" she asked

"alexa, yours?" i asked

"veronica. nice to meet you" she said and sat down next to me

"where you headed?" i asked looking at her duffel bag

"san diego"

"are you just visiting los angeles?"

"no i've lived here my whole life. things weren't good at home so i packed my bags and now i'm here" she smiled

"basically running away" i asked

"it's funny but yes. there's nothing good for me here. i'm ready to be in a town that no one knows me"

"that's exactly what i need, i hate it here" i said

she paused and didn't say anything

"you should come with!" she smiled

"i just met you"

"you said you hate it here. you said that's what you need. and i don't want to be lonely, we can be best friends"

i thought about all this in my head, if i was going to run away better to do it with a friend

"i'm down. but i can't leave tonight is tomorrow okay?" i asked

"yes! meet me here at 11" she said

i'm finally getting out of this town
